This stuff is awesome. Rigging is the end all be all of specialty item moving. What did you guys anchor your pulley off of? Wood stud or steel framing? It also seems like an electric winch with wire rope would be WAYYY quicker than someone pulling chain through a tackle, but good on ya, way to be creative and get the job done!

+Scott H Hello Scott, good to know. Sometimes it is hard to trust those stair climbers with weight so dense and compact like this. A 6 Foot Tall Gun Safe where the weight is more spread out, fine. But, a 2 footer as dense and has heavy as this is another story. Thanks for your comment.

John! Sorry for the terribly late response here. I wasn't getting the comments notified in my email so, I missed out on many. Anyway, I would think that the block and chain probably weigh about 100 lbs. altogether. Believe it or not, we just stuff it in a milk carton and, lift it that way. It works!
