Nice, looks like a less soulsy more hack and slash Nioh, with Sekiro/Wo Long guards and deflects but doesn’t seem overly reliant on it. Nice to see you have stances and can smoothly swap between weapons. Naginata, Yari, maybe Bayonet for me. Team Ninja and Koei are masters of creating polearm combat. Don’t really care about graphics it looks good enough. Would I have purchased a ps5 specifically for this, probably not. Luckily I bought one for Stellar Blade.

Ghost of Tsushima was a really pretty game and the combat was okay but I wasn’t able to beat it I got bored lol.

It's a very bad idea to relase 2 big games Dragon's Dogma 2 and Rise of the Ronin at the same day. If I'll have to choose, I will buy and play this Rise of the Ronin, because I have Dragon's Dogma 1 on PlayStation 5 since when I still had PlayStation 4 in last year 2023 but I've haven't played it yet and i'm more excited for Rise of the Ronin as a big fan of Japan's history and Samurais. That's why i'm going to buy and play Rise of the Ronin. Gameplay looks really awesome, march 22 can't wait! 🌑🌏🌍🌎🌄🌸⛩️🏯⚔️🔥

Huge team ninja Koei fan here, but I understand the concern about graphics. It’s a ps5 exclusive. With graphics like this they could’ve at least had a ps4 version. Being a ps5 exclusive sets the bar high. You really have to stand out. I mean good thing for them, I’m sold since I got one for Stellar Blade.

This'll probably be the only game where even if we're given the option to use multiple weapons, I'd only use one. The spear is about the only weapon that looks interesting enough to play, and it's only *just* interesting enough. That's not a good sign lol.

Bayonet and Naginata are incredible I liked how mobil you are with Yari, and the guns are a lot of fun. The air parry looks great hoping for a PC release and obviously an expansion or DLCs. I saw a semblance of rapier too.

Art direction and graphics look so outdated to be a current gen game. Ghost of Tsushima was released 4 years ago on a previous generation console and looks miles ahead of Rise of the Ronin. Kind of embarrassing they are asking the full newly inflated price for this and charging the same as Stellar Blade or Dragon's Dogma 2 that seem at a whole other level above this one.
