I admire how deftly Rhianna Pratchett and the rest of the writing team have struck a fine, believable balance between youthful naïvety and silent maturity in characterizing this Lara. They have created a very strong, nuanced character and Camilla Luddington's performance brings Lara to life even more vividly.

Again.. why do some hardcore fanboys not love this game and the 2013 reboot? Boggles my mind.. the 2013 and ROTR games are fantastic. However, if I had to choose it'd be the Tomb Raider 2013 as the superior game. Like seriously.. all their comments are.. ohh she's a murderer and killer. I'm like huh? She's being shot at. do you instead want her to use harsh language? Apparently that won't work for her either.. 3:05 xD. One complaint that I have is they need to incorporate the Tombs INTO the story.. not by an optional path. I remember the old games had that, but of course they also needed to modernize the gameplay to be action-oriented as well as exploring. Good balance of both.

This is the second time Lara drops an F-bomb. The first time was in the TR2013 near the end of the game on the beach where Reyes and Jonah are repairing the boat and preparing to go after Sam. Because she was working as an agent for Trinity the entire time and she never told Lara until later when she got captured. Lara also thought that Ana killed her father. So, Richard had a fiancé and that was Ana in the picture with little Lara and Richard. When Amelia died, Richard found someone he met while he was traveling and they were together for quite some time. Play the Blood Ties DLC because Richard made several documents about Amelia and Ana.

Should I think her personality developed when she was in shadow, I actually like how they Give Laura to the ability to actually interact with people in a very positive way the original one doesn't do that, she's often not very social and and also distances herself from people, or does she form any friendships or bonds with people, and it's heavily implied about her character that she doesn't care at all, she's not very likable.

Ewwwww - potty mouth Lara. I'm no prude but I just don't like Lara using the 'F' or 'C' bombs. It just doesn't sit well with the history of the games. I remember being shocked to hear 'pissed off' in one game in the 90's in Jacklyn Natla's lair and in TR3 that line where the Australian fella says 'I woke up and found one of the buggers snacking on my leg'. It just seems a cheap cop out to pepper Tombraider games with extreme language. The plots and already graphic nature of the whole theme make it better than this and it's just unnecisary.
