My family has never been supportive or even cared about what I do. They say they do but they don't. Lyrics is what keeps me going. I have so much respect for him and i hate how much hate they get. They don't have to do it, they can keep up the impenetrable "rock star" image, but so many choose to be vulnerable and honest with their audience. I'd rather listen to their music because of it. Because it's brave.

So many feels. I already had so much love and respect for him, I didn't think it was possible to love or respect him more. I feel him on being away from his brother during the time when its easier to connect. By the time I was able to drink, party, stay out late, or basically do anything fun, my brother was hours away at college and we didn't get the chance to do any of it either and now my brother has a family so we can't do any of it anyway. I also know how it to lose your best friend in an instant, my cousin was one of my best friends and inspirations/motivations and 4 years ago he passed away from a heart attack and I still haven't recovered and I still haven't picked back up on my dreams, so I give him props for following his dreams and making her proud. Also, this has nothing to do with the video but I never would have expected him to be so young. I didn't think he was my age, 23(well he'll be 23 in December). He's amazing and he's one of my inspirations. Keep making your dreams reality, your music is an inspiration to all who listen to it.

I cry every single time. I know how it feels to lose the one person who was supposed to be at your side no matter what. My best friend died at 17 of leukemia. He was the only reason I was able tto find the salvation I need through this genre of music. We were supposed to make it together. Out of foster care, out of our fucked up home town. Out of dope headed ass parents house's. When your parents drug buddies, living out of the dope house with 10 fucking kids, dcf came.. all we could do was stick together because that's all you have. I still hold a lot of resentment in my heart now. At 15 , I was taking care of my brothers and sisters. My foster mom at the time wouldn't even let me go say goodbye while he was in the hospital. The only reason I'm alive today , is my siblings and music. I live for them now. My parents as well as Trevor's parents are now sober. Sucks to know it took trev dying to open their eyes. I miss him everyday, but he lives through the music. All he ever wanted to do was play , even when he was sick all his extra energy went in to picking up his drumsticks. Music is a beautiful thing.

His story about his hard time reminds me so much of me. Not only is my name Rachel, but Sept 29th of last year I had a horrible car accident and almost died....they said I should've died. From all of that, I ended up with a Traumatic Brain Injury. Music has always been my go to. It's my life and after my accident, I still turned to music. It speaks words for me that I can't say. As you can see, I'm covered with music tattoos. I became very into this band, the summer before my accident, and I'm still listening to them.
