Maybe they didn't want to overwhelm her with their opinions? Sometimes people with anxiety relay a lot on others - maybe during her adolescence they had learned to wait for her decision without their input? Or maybe the mom is uncomfortable in front of camera? Anxiety is often a inherited problem. She was moved and had teary eyes, she wasn't unemotional, just very quiet.

Some people are less expressive than others. It’s not because they don’t feel anything. My brother was like that. Even when he’d tell me he was excited about something he wouldn’t show it the way I would show it. It bothered me at first, but then I realized everyone’s different and there’s no right or wrong way to experience joy.

I thought Jenny had it ALL, beauty, grace, humor, energy. She was open and engaging. It seemed like all her sister had was beauty and nice posture. If they were both at a party I would go talk to Jenny and steer clear of the sister. It was a shame that she got a hug from the consultant and not her mother. How are they controlling? They let her have the dress she wanted with nothhing negative to say. They are just stoic, and it could have to do with that they are on camera. It could even be the producers just only showed clips of them looking reserved and left out any smiles

Jenny is darling and it was a bummer seeing she wasn’t getting family support. I did some googling and she and her husband Dave are still together and share a young son, Bear. I think some of the mom and sister’s reservation could have been hesitancy about the relationship. It seems they started dating when she was 19 and he was 40. They dated 6 years and married in March 2022 when she was 26 and he was 47. Wishing everyone all the best ❤
