There is something narcissistic in bringing an old dress and taking time of the appointment of the young bride who wants something else, hoping that maybe she will want this dress their chose. I always cringe when I see those mothers doing that.

I agree although I do get passing a dress down. I would have suggested she do her hair with a bit of accessory flowers or something similar and have some photos taken with the gown on just so they could have a remembrance.

the first bunch of dresses she tried on were the wrong shape for her, the gathered waistlines were not flattering at all, that's what was wrong with them. They may have been light and airy for the beach but if the style doesn't suit than move onto a different silhouette.

She should have tried all the dresses on they brought into the room. Things look so different on the person and off the hanger. Goodness knows how Randy felt that she was irritating me.
