Something I made a few months ago, Gundam Unicorn AMV Sympathy
So Consider this a filler amv as I wait for my new laptop and get ready to start college
I was considering this one for the anime boston amv contest since If I recall you can enter up to two videos, so this and the mecha mix could work nicely together.

Gundam as a whole does have credit for changing anime history and causing animes to have these kinds of story. We can take much from these shows and reflect on ourselves, it's just so great.

The more people that work towards brightening the future the better our chances become. Small changes from Individual hearts when combined to become massive changes that can improve Humanity.

One problem, you might think is just a point of semantics: Gundam is not about "Sympathy"(emulation of other people's emotions via reasoning) but "Empathy"(the real-time deep connection~unity of hearts) which allows actual perception rather than mental approximation. With sympathy, one can not perceive in others what has never been first felt in personal experience, empathy, however, allows previously unknown sensations to flow between hearts, granting a united experience of emotion(s).

Man I can not stop watching this AMV. It's so good. Can't help but just feel different feelings from this AMV. It's so good, the songs, the dialogue. Marvelous. I would even say this AMV should get highlighted by Bandai itself. It conveys so many feelings and it fits with Gundam as a whole and I love it. I can't fully describe it at all.

***** It's only seven episodes, but if you really want the whole picture and for it to be as meaningful as it should be you need to watch the entire Universal Century up to that point. Great OVA and fantastic conclusion to the Federation/Zeon conflict. One of the best endings I have ever seen.

+The KZbin Rookie No reason TBH, as someone who actually read the light novel series - that change made to that scene made me scratch my head. In the Novel, not only was her final outing a much better showing - she utterly wrecked Sinanju, thrashed him so hard that the Char Wannabe had to run with his tail between his legs, but also - her death played the Heroic Sacrifice trope 100% straight. It's been like two years since i read the novel, but IIRC she was outmatched by Banshee so she resorted to trying to talk it out with Mr. Blue Balls, and like in the OVA was doing a good job of it. Just as he was coming around, Mineva said something that *really* set him off, so in a fit of rage, Riddhe fired at her - i.e the Argama. Having a moment to spare, Marida made the only choice available to her - jumped in front of the particle beam. Whereas in the OVA, she just sat there and took it, getting herself killed in order to... i dunno, make a point? The hilarity is exacerbated by the fact that unlike in the novel - she was doing a damn good job against Riddhe, effectively disarming him and being the only one to actually inflict *actual damage* upon an Unicorn. It's not outside the realm of possibility, that due to his arguably inferior skill and obvious mental instability - she could have continued the battle and either talk him down or take him down without killing him. So in essence, A Heroic Sacrifice became a Stupid Sacrifice(sure it's heroic, it worked - but was it actually *needed*?) If i had to guess, id wager that old habits die hard. After all, _half her life was focused on sitting still and taking IT, or several ITS at once_ ... Hue hue hue hue xD It all pales in comparison to the worst change however - the novel there was no Neo Zeong, the final battle between Banana and Frontal WAS ON FOOT, WITH LEAD PIPES!

Altair28 Probably meant to repeat the sacrifice of a female cyber-newtype for the main male pilots (Lalah for Amuro and Char, Four for Kamille, Ple and Ple 2 for Judah). You know, show that shit in the UC hasn’t changed. The Unicorns vs the Neo Zeong was also meant to mirror the UC 0079 last showdown between Amuro and Char, minus the sword fight that follows. Also, if do you know what company sells the translated Unicorn LN? I’d like to read them.

The Zabi's are an example too, dropping a Colony on Earth killing so many. The Box was shown but nothing changed at all, it all still goes to shit as we see in later Gundam shows.

I... love the unicorn series but I hate Audrey. She uses Banahger through this entire story and only needs him cuz he has fhe gundam. So many times she throws him under the bus and undermines him despite how fucking devoted he is to her. She wants zimmerman to side with them and sounds so desperate but I don't hear the Princess that wants to help her people I here a girl desperate for her plans to come to bear fruit and things about to collapse because this one person. She goes from loving banahger to back stabbing and undermining him at the drop of a hat and I can't stand it
