Just remember: The old happy times when Tacarigua was in peace full safe by inquisition and pirates, when the toughest creatures was the monkeys, DAMN SHADOWS IN RISEN 3, the sugar... No ron fuckkkk the life!!! First ingame travel, hardest island full of demons and shitty dogs (Risen 3 hard mode), end screen 40 times... And all this badlands, with that creepy music... I wonder that will be clear in risen 4 and new sugar camps :D

Yea Tacarigua was beautiful in Risen 2, it still had a lot of beautiful landscape in Risen 3, but the shadows destroyed a lot :( Sadly the beach where the pirate had their base in Risen 2, was missing in Risen 3, that was also a beautiful area.

Revan Even Antigua looks really dark in R3 (I know the pirate settlement in Risen 2 was small but it was not as dark as in Risen 3) , i think the game have a lot of similarities with the gothic series (Specially with G1 and 2)... The athmosphere is one of them, that dark athmosphere and spooky area music (I must say that i prefer Risen 2 area and combat music, quality and melody tones i think, not so depressive) can be seen in Gothic 1, also the suspense and the difficulty of the combat is like Gothic 2... They expected to mix the best and make Risen 3 like Gothic, with the some difficulty, the combat system i must say is a crap in all the risen saga (Like G3), the magic, the freedom and the "chapter" system. I know risen is made by the some company but R1 and 2 looks different of gothic series because of some aspects, Risen 3 looks more a misc of G1, 2 and 3 in term of aspects i said before (G1 athmosphere and chapters limits, G2 hard combat and chapters limits, G3 annoying combat system and freedom of some desitions without chapter limits incluiding side quests, also KARMA system like the reputation system of G3). Some pussys like Angry Joe dont like the game due to the combat system, noobs jajaja. BTW: You know Antigua was in the age of gold and piracy a British Island... When playing Age of Pirates 2 i was really surprised when saw it in the british hands... Thinking about lore, what happened? Siege? XD. I dont know why they named the island as Antigua, why not Bermuda?

***** Damn too much text to answer, but just one thing the combat system in Risen 1 was pretty good, you should play it again if you forget. And in Risen 3 it wasn't that bad. In Risen 2 it was a bit boring that's true, but after you learned a few skills it became better. Angry Joe is just an idiot, who also sucked hard at the game, you could see it in the videos. He was too stupid for the combat system obviously :D

Revan I have never played Risen 1 due to the bad votes in IGN, i know they are asshole but i didnt find an interesting thing to try and start playing it.
