For anyone who isn't sure, this song is about depression. They actually dedicated this song to Chester. Probably my favorite song of theirs.
@wastedspace48782 жыл бұрын
This song came out before chester killed himself.. IF you're referring to Chester Bennington. Jus sayin
@ConnerJohn19932 жыл бұрын
@@wastedspace4878 Yeah, I know. But during a live show, they said it was a dedication to Chester.
@29mcg2 жыл бұрын
@@ConnerJohn1993this song is very much about depression, and that would explain why they dedicated that song at that show to chester.
@DBKGAMING717 жыл бұрын
To me, the song is about depression and anxiety; the way it sinks in when the lights go out and the constant fear of suicidal thoughts, struggling to find something you care about, internally screaming, just wishing someone would reach out and make everything better.
@icky_thump7 жыл бұрын
It is about suicide. Lou made mention of that prior to singing it at the show i just went to in Rockford, IL. He specifically made a shout out to his personal favorite Chester Bennington. RIP
@iblastyou48196 жыл бұрын
Paul Denney I saw them in concert and I almost cried when he mentioned Chester bc this song is basically about him.
@itskatietano6 жыл бұрын
It is about depression, Lou talks about it a lot when he talks about this song. Especially before they start playing it at shows. After Chester Bennington's death it's been dedicated to him at every show
@mrstealyourleg98885 жыл бұрын
I feel this on a personal level
@xnflg30745 жыл бұрын
yep. this song at first seems like Lou talking to a specific person, but eventually it's obvious that he's talking to his audience in general. It's a general wake-up-call for those afflicted by depression... not necessarily something to cure those afflicted, mind you... more like him saying "hey, is it dark in your room? We feel it too."

Chris TDWP doubt it, there's a new bmth, 30STM, Hollywood undead, our hollow our home, FIR, SECRETS, Dangerkids, there's a lot of new material out this year that could steal that title

Woe, Is Me [&] Well to my knowledge the guys are half way through making their 4th LP, hands down one of my favourite bands, it's a shame that ETGUH was made during the transition from Aaron to Wade, it's going to be awesome hearing more stuff like waste away on the new Album (which should be out around summer time ;) )
@weapon_x2618 жыл бұрын
ATTAK While I loved ETGUH, I thought something was missing. IMO wade was better in the will the way. Hopefully LP4 sounds like the ascent, fragile figures and waste away combined!
