A lot of people tried so hard to bring this band down, especially the music critics. They even created the meme of crabcore. But this band was more than just another metalcore music group, they stood as a symbol. A symbol to never give up, to keep reaching for your dreams.Shame that they broke up because I deeply loved Attack Attack!. Believe it or not, this band, Stick Stickly got me into metalcore. Good band, with good hearts too. Screw the haters & hate, AA! lives on forever through us all.

Check out Caleb's new band Beartooth. Just think of it that this band helped it's members find their place in this music world that they actually wanted to be. I think of AA! as a bridge for Austin Carlile to find OM&M and for Caleb to find Beartooth. All three are great bands, and even though AA! is done, it's a great story that will live on!

So it’s 2012. At the New Daisy Theater in Memphis Tennessee. I’m sixteen and me, my brother and my best friends went to a show featuring SECRETS, The Word Alive, Attack Attack! and Escape the Fate. Well Caleb Shomo during Attack Attacks set says on stage that he has the flu right and eventually he has this huge trash can next to him that he’s puking into and still trying to perform while the bassist and touring guitarist/clean vocalist assist in the vocals that are Shomos parts right? And during THIS song Caleb starts to really get sick and during the “I put my life on the line for you” break down, on of their touring techs comes out and hugs him, takes the mic from the bass player an while Caleb starts puking again into the trash can the tech has his hand on Caleb’s back and does the vocals for the break down. It was such a powerful moment in that theatre that this guy just comes out on stage to help Caleb during this specific song. A few months later AA came back headlining scream it like you mean it 2012 and me and my brother managed to get VIP passes to meet AA and few of the other bands and my brother commented to Caleb “You feeling better than last time you were in Memphis?” Not trying to be mean or anything he was just asking in a joking way and Caleb says “You guys came back to see us after just a few months and after I was wreck on stage?” And I said “hell yeah man, we love your music and you were still amazing even though you were sick, most bands wouldn’t have even played.” and he laughs and just says thanks guys. The whole band were just super nice. Both shows were insanely amazing and the Scream It like you mean it line up was fucking sick, featuring most of my favorite bands at the time. I’ll remember both shows till I die.

This song is pure gold and so is Caleb in Beartooth. Allow me to laugh hard at the metalcore "fans" going around giving their "generic and boring" stamp to bands that have been around since they were kids. Their idea of "refreshing and original" metalcore are those bands you see performing in damp and dark basements their whole careers, who can't play for shit live and have records sounding worse than a bus crying toddlers.

It's sad they left after this album because I honestly felt that this album was the best piece of work they put out. Someday Came Suddenly had a few fun tracks but it was in general not very musically interesting, I think. They got a lot more unique with their mixing in Attack Attack (the album) and I liked most of it. But this album was one big story, the music seemed so much more smooth, the whole album flowed, and I really enjoyed how the vocals felt like they meant more (maybe that's because I think the lyrical writing was best on this album). That being said, I guess it is good that they went out on top for me. It just stinks that they felt like they had to end it. hey started out so different, that when they evolved into this the former fans just showed so much hate and they figured that if they were to make new music they had to separate and go their own ways, or make a new band. I'm happy for Caleb. Beartooth rocks, but I'm kinda sad to still think about how Attack Attack is gone:/

Man a lot of people say that this is garbage, I mean I think this and "The Revolution" can get some adrenaline pumping, but it's sad to see how their old stuff doesn't get recognition. I love Attack! Attack! And I'm happy for Beartooth, actually I love them, I don't know, maybe it's cause I'm a fellow Ohioan.

metalcore to me is a band like converge, coalesce, etc... what attack attack was to me, was everything i despised. the death of genuine metalcore. Then i saw this video.... between the 1984 influenced video, and the "heavy radio rock" approach that they were taking (and nearly perfecting), i felt like i could actually get behind them for once. this song could have done without the breakdown/low growl part.. but it was otherwise no less credible as a damn good song. i thought they finally found their place. shame they called it quits shortly after this period.

Bro, check out BEARTOOTH. The vocalist's new band... I think it's what you're looking for.

While it's all a matter of opinion and I have no problem with you disliking this band (I'm sort of half & half on their releases myself) - I'm not quite sure if you're ragging on the originality behind Metalcore (in which I was gonna say is kind of the ultimate hypocrisy since you praised 'Radio Rock' - which is the most generic sound you can get) or if you just dislike Metalcore (which is purely opinion based, and not a problem to me at all). Also - Like everyone says, BEARTOOTH is a great band if you like this. :')
