Appreciated your video, the Bung King 6"up 2"pullback is perfect for me. I had no desire to remove the tank and undo all the wiring so I had a 1/4" slot cut through the back side of the hole for the wiring allowing me to remove the stock risers and install new in under 1/2 hour with the top clamp back on there is plenty of rigidity very simple. Unless your standing on your head you really can't see the cut slot.

While the stock bars don't have much pull back, if you tilt them back toward you (or down) you'll then have a slight bend to your elbows. That may be more comfortable on long rides and will make low speed turns easier. Very good and informative video.

@motorman857 I took your advise and did this on my new 2023 Lowrider S, and it worked phenomenally! It’s a more relaxed riding position and I feel like I have significantly more control when performing low speed maneuvers. My question to you, with this being my experience, does this mean I would not be a fan of a taller t-bar setup? I guess I’m asking if my liking of the tilted stock bars is a result of them being closer to me, lower, or both? Thank you, big fan!
@motorman8576 ай бұрын
@@Mr_TimeMachine_Too The closer the bars are to your chest, the more leverage you have to turn the bars. Just putting on risers won't help. You either need bars with more pull back like Street Bob bars or risers that bring the bars 2 or 3 inches toward you.

I have the exact same riser on my ST and it made a huge difference in the comfort of my riding position. It was well worth swapping out the original riser. The other thing I did was delete the air vent in the center of the windshield. Believe or not it made a big difference in the sound quality of the rockford fosgate audio system at highway speeds. There's some braided expanding sleeving you could have slipped all the wires inside and had a single more compact extension between the clamp and top yoke, just saying. Oh yea and you disconnect the fuel pump then try to start which drains any fuel in the pipe and removes any pressure on the fuel connector. After is a complete waste of time.

@@HOLYSHIFT unfortunately like some other stated her that part# does not come up in a search. Can you verify it or post exactly how you found it. Is it listed as a Low Rider accessory? Thanks

Stock doesn’t fit on these risers for some reason. The holes of bolts don’t align !

Sandy, how much wiggle do you get by using the stock rubber bushing?? I’m looking at doing the same set up and I’m getting a lot of suggestions that with that much height really increases the leverage and they highly recommend using polyurethane bushing. Can you wiggle your bars up and down a lot when your sitting still? If you decide to change yours out can you please let us know the difference. Bung king dont offer it in chrome, i might have to buy the black one and send it in to be chromed. I really like your set up.

Solid as a rock! The riser I installed isn’t that much taller and doesn’t add too much leverage- so I used stock bushings. I feel no difference than before!

I agree their riser is stout but man they think so too - the price is steep.
