In problem #3, A i.e. 90 that you cancelled out is the correct answer. 480-390 = 90 = the last score he needs to get an equally weighted 80 point average.

No, it is 3.6. Please check your math.

It's 3.6! I used the inverse tangent of sin^-1(0.8). Then I got the angle. After that, I used SOH CAH TOA and just used cosine of whatever angle you got times the hypotenuse.
