My thoughts, It's a metaphor of how people choose to stay in their comfort zone, and every character represents a different aspect of life (e.g., daughter as responsibility, his wife as past trauma). And how all these affect the decision-making in life. The story makes more sense on the second watch. Great work by the whole team and thanks to Rishab for bringing such talents.
