@@sleepy1036 love when people are quick to judgement. I haven’t touched COD in months and now pretty much exclusively play Sandstorm and Squad. Plus, RS2(to me) plays like a slightly slower paced battlefield. However the reloads make it seem the game is played about the same pace as squad as the reloads for the guns in both games are about the same. If this game was slower paced, than the reloads wouldn’t be a problem. But when I(an amateur shooter) can reload a Thompson quicker than this game, u got a problem

I wish the animations weren't so slow and kind of boring, I can't stop mentioning how unrealistic that someone would be this slow in the middle of a war, is like you take the magazine of a rifle and then stare at it for 2 - 3 seconds until your character remembers where he keeps the other ones. I really can't think of an excuse for something like that, gameplay? it just makes you stay on cover for longer periods of time.

That is kind of necessary. You need to see if those bullets are tidied up, and they are correctly held and not reverse. The speed of these animations are not bad, and there arent many unnecessary parts.

You also need time to reach your new mag in your pouch, check if there are bullets in it and also their positions (as already mentioned). These soldiers aren't like SEALs or SAS, this also not a gun & run arcade FPS like CoD. This depicts these soldiers as average or even fresh recruits. If you watch some combat footages of Vietnam war, soldiers don't reload their guns with God speed like in CoD or BF, or just watch some war movies. There is also a thing called "battle stress". You try to reload with God speed you have a high chance of messing up your reload or even your gun. Personally I like this kind of reload, look more realistic.

The other guys comments on realism so for gameplay it is also good as you cant have snipers reload in .1 of a second or no one will be able to cross a road in the game, you also cant have a guy with ppsh drum mag run into a building spray a few of them down and reload before the guys realise whats happening. In cod this is fine as it takes half a mag to kill someone but in a game where you can get one tapped in the heart, spine or head with any gun, that would be a major issue.

Rushing a reload is a terrible idea and kinda hard with older weapons. Not ever game has to be like cod and I'm pretty sure you would want to stay in cover during war. Remember: slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
