This is my 10th time listening ( maybe even more, I lost count already) to this address of the Cardinal. He was then a bishop of Imus. For me this is one of his best speech even including the most recent ones now that he is already a cardinal bishop. Cardinal Chito is really an excellent speaker combining his intellectual understanding of the gospel with his deep faith and passion in doing his mission. He deserves to be the next pope.

He is so expressive of his feelings while speaking. He speaks from the heart; has good sense of humor, has good tone of voice that catches the spectator's eyes & hears. Nilda M, Bishop Tagle's statements are counterproductive to the needed c.97% healing and c.3% forgiveness of the harm of clerical (and worldwide) sexual abuse. By asserting "faith in God and being in Church", Bishop Tagle reverses Pope Francis' completion of Humanae Vitae, 1968, 12 as 'belief in God and acting in Church'. Belief is the keeping of the inseparability and qualitative equality of thinking and having faith. "Church" is a 'do-ing' role, not a 'be-ing' identity. This completion of HV, 12 is de facto in the cases of indictments for alleged embezzlement of procreation gift charity donations by helpers of the family within the family against Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine other Vatican state citizens (presently been heard in Pope Francis' Vatican state court) and the unacceptable risk of fraud on the need of union of identities of family members of valid and proper marriages if the "Zan" anti-homophobia bill before the Italian Parliament was passed (defeated in early November 2021 after a protest note against it authorised by Pope Francis).
