I’m so glad you shared this. As someone who has struggled with their mental health for most of her life, sharing is so important. I went through medical menopause at 35 and I genuinely thought I was going mad. I was completely numb, I felt no emotions whatsoever and I had no motivation for anything. I ended up coming off the medication that put me into the menopause because I just didn’t recognise myself anymore. Things have never gone back to normal but mentally I am in a much better place. I think I’ll always struggle but I’ve learnt to recognise myself when things are getting bad. I’m currently having a bad time but I know how to get out of it. The fact you advocated for yourself, demanded a second opinion and got the help you so needed is absolutely amazing and something I wish more women would do! I’m so glad things are on the up for you and thank you for sharing ❤❤
