A little tip for sick pups, you have to spend 20 minutes with them WITHOUT sleeping. If you sleep more than 4 times, the pup will die. Your diversity has to be high aswell for the best outcome!

Grizzly and black bears kill four times as many elk calves as wolves do, and cougars are also considered more effective predators for elk calves. Coyotes also hunt antelope fawns while wolves rarely do; since wolves lower coyote populations, wolves actually help antelope populations in the park. Wolves are far from the most lethal predators in the park and their presence may indirectly help elk populations by competing with other predators.

I’ve never been so early! Tip: make sure parsley and marigold are together in the same tall grass with no one else or they are in 2 different ones without the rest of the puppies. The pups can get sick from being with another sick pups.

For a higher chance of pups surviving the sickness, make sure all of your hexes are strong, or atleast 15 of them, feed the pups and spend about 13-30 (20-30 would be best) minutes without sleeping, and don’t sleep too much, 3-5 would probably be okay, though, as long as it’s spaced out, Also to mark your own territory, you don’t have to go to the sent marker, you can just pee twice instead

I had a pup that got sick and her health dropped all the way down to 25%. After that though, her health gradually started getting better, and she was fine! Good luck with the sick pups!

Hi, don't know if anyone has already said this but tip for finding calf's, listen for the specific music titled to the calf hunting and stay in that area. If there is no music, there will be no calf in that area, so go closer to the mother.

The mommas do charge at you when you get close to their babies, telling you that you're in the right spot. The wolf quest updates, official forms, AND their KZbin channel already explained all of this. If you have any questions, refer to any of their sources. They literally tell you everything about the game. Including important survival information.

Tip: right click to lock on, it's easier to fight off predators and hunt prey. Another tip: when the music changes and a Lone Cow elk is nearby, that means a baby calf is nearby, but if you stretch away too far from the elk or any mama, the music Changes back to the Normal music.

I find it helps if you form an area around your den/Rendezvous site in a triangle. It makes it easier to patrol and you have a good amount of space between the other packs.

Hey siri, for finding baby elk or deer, the mother will come at you if you are near the correct bush. Also, the mother stands about 100 in game yards from their baby.👍

I always listen to the music when I wonder if its a lone Elk mom. Because in areas where you can find their babies, the music changes and will even stop, as soon as you leave the area

Seri be careful with the bison because they will attack your pups if they spot them and you could loose a litter to them if you aren’t careful! Basically when you see a bison herd and your pups are there. Run. Edit: also make sure to be close to your sick pup! Pawprint have to be glowing or else it doesn’t count as spending time with them

The series is going really slow, with the slowly growing pups and territory slowly fading, but it makes me really excited to see how things will always turn out. Like..how the pups will grow up to be, how will they play a part in the pack, how many will have pups etc

This is a hard call. Everyone is saying don't sleep too much because the pups will get worse, but with Meadow's health and stamina so low fighting off any predators or stranger wolves will be hard when you try to spend time with the sick pups. Cross fingers that nothing shows up that she'll have to fight off! She'll need to sleep anyway at some point. I'd focus on getting them to 20 pounds even though I know Seri doesn't like to rush things. 😂

I healed my pup by staying next to her while she slept and my wolf didn't sleep. Then when her health went up 1% I slept and she went up 30% so I kept sleeping right next to her till she was back in the 90s and not sick anymore. It seems like you can't even go hunting when they're sick or they die. Have a calf laying there for them to eat off of for a few days cayse you can't go hunting at all :/ Your wolf will get very hungry but you will survive. Edit: took about 4 in game days, I spent 2 not sleeping at all and just laying with her and playing with her

to answer your question on the elk numbers the wolves in yellowstone actually keep the elk population steady. One of the main reasons wolves were reintroduced to yellowstone in 1995 was because the elk population was out of control

When you find a lone elk or mule deer sniff their scent trail and if it says “mother and baby elk heard” than there is a baby nearby. Also health heals faster the higher your hunger is

My tip for hunting the babies is to listen to the music change. Is does a different music when you are by the ungulates. Is very helpful when your looking for them because it changes if you get to far away go the normal music. I really hope the pups get better 😩

I'm going to begin making a case for Calypso as the next heir, because I am now running her political campaign. Calypso is a lot like Parsley in her playfulness and spirit, but less bold, less inclined to get into trouble, and receiving a lot less attention. She's the one setting up the joke so Parsley can deliver the punchline. She's the one who holds her siblings together with her energy and playfulness. She's always been in her sister's shadow and never had to stand apart. Her name even means "she who hides"; she's never had to stand alone and exposed until now. Now, her bolder, braver sister is wasting away from disease and Calypso is left behind. Two of her sisters have died. Her remaining two sisters are gravely ill. It's looking like any pranks or games she invents she'll have to do alone. Who will she become apart from Parsley? She's not the oldest, she's not the youngest, she's not the bravest, she's not the closest to her mother. She is the forgotten sister who only receives attention when she is last to enter the grasses. She's playful and goofy, but her antics only receive a passing mention. She's just as playful as Parsley, but knows that Daisy died because Parsley wandered too far from the den and vowed not to do the same. She's the youngest living daughter, but has to stay stronger than her sisters. The eldest, Arrow, rarely plays with the rest, so she has to be a big sister to Achellies instead. I'm very simple - I vote for whichever heir holds the most storytelling potential. Calypso is a playful, goofy, young pup that's forced by hardship to become the most responsible. The next era of the Moon Pack is surely going to become even harder and we'll need an heir who has Calypso's ever-bright, resilient spirit who has never sought the spotlight and deserves it more than the rest. Calypso's the one.
