Risk Dice Rolling Rules - MODIFIED

This video shows the basic rules for dice rolling and making attacks in RISK.
***Please note that these rules have been slightly modified for a version of RISK that I use in the classroom. Normally the last remaining soldier in a territory is not allowed to attack - but this rule does not apply in my version of the game.

well 2:27: attacker has three armies in total what means he can only attack with two of them and roll only two dice instead of three you are rolling here. so that part of the video is wrong

this is because: if the attacker should win, all but one army can move to the country you just had won. all attacking armies must move to the new country thats why one army cannot attack

@carlostobias I believe once you win a territory your turn is over and you then can re maneuver your troops and draw a card before the next players turn.

Great video 1 question tho if any one knows it please let me know.... So you move you're last solder to the victory country but what about you're country you left it alone? Do you get you're shoulders back that were defeated or what happens thanx

Carlos Tobias Sorry for the late reply. In the standard version of Risk you are always required to leave one army behind. In the game I designed for my class I modified the rules so that players can leave a country unoccupied, if they so choose.

I thought that if you use three dice and lose that you are risking three men? and therefore have to lose three men. in other words, i thought that you are putting up an infantry per dice rolled? i thought there was some kind of risk involved, didnt it used to be that way? or is it just that you can only roll as many dice if you have that many plus one while attacking.
