*what if chests were void cells?* *what if chests were pillars that dropped items?* *what if item rarities were swapped?* (like whites had the rarity of greens, red spawned in place of yellows, purple and blue the same, and vice versa or your own variant) *what if items couldn't spawn of their native rarity?* (like whites could spawn in large chests, legendary chests, teleporter events, etc but never be obtained through conventional means. thus common chests can spawn anything except whites, greens, and reds, large chests can spawn anything except greens and reds, void cradles can spawn anything except purples, lunar pods and the bazaar can carry every item except blues, etc)

I wonder if there’s a mod for “If every ENEMY is ___” It would be kind of funny to see every single enemy be a Grandparent. Combined with some item shenanigans, that could be a ton more content. Realized I should clarify. It would be similar to Artifact of Kin, but it is the exact same enemy every stage rather than randomizing it. It would be cool if it ignored the manager credit costs but if a hoard of wisps spawn and they’re replaced with Beetle Queens, it would be a nightmare. Plus a mod like that would work in Eclipse on its own

if I'm grinding out character monsoon runs too get their alt skins and such then yeah obliterate all the way. once you reach a threshold around stage 4 where it becomes either slightly easier or not it just blows past. ply if your short on coins you can get however many coins the lunar scavenger drops after buying beads. i think its 20, so you spend around 3-6 too get a profit of about 14-17

Its a shame this game doesnt work like Warframe where having over 100% chance to proc something allows it to add an additonal stack per hit. Like if im able to find more than 10 tri tip daggers in one run i should be able to utilize additional stacks

there is a mod for that but I like that it doesn't do that. It encourages you to diversify your build which leads to stronger builds anyway

@raydans while I do mostly agree with that, there isn't a lot of diversifying to be had, at least not with this specific example. If I already have 10 bleed, and I find another tri tip I can either pick it up, at which point its just a paperweight, or scrap all of my other tri tips, which obviously isn't a good idea

Why is Dan calling it capped crit by like stage 4 when it’s only like 60-80%?

Harvesters scythe and predatory both add 5% crit chance so 5 scythe is 25% crit and the 2 predatory bring it up to cap

Clover atg does more damage from specifically the missiles on average. But plimp also has a proc coefficient. so clover plimp is more procs per hit.

@@Guest-of-Unn alright mr toxic. Let me break it down for you. Atg + clover has a 19% chance to proc, meaning a 38% damage increase. While that is worse than plimp wiht 40% and even worse with 2 stacks of plimp (corrupting the atg) at 90%, the more atg‘s you get the more negatable it is. Also, you cant keep shield forever if youre not playing huntress. Secondly: plimp has a 0.2 proc coefficent, rather than atgs 1.0 proc coefficent, meaning if you have other proc items AND clover already, atg clover is gonna be way better than plimp. Im not gonna calculate what items you meed and how many so that atg is better than plimp, but with 1 polylute its probably already better.

you need to think bout every other proc item in your build that now has the clover reroll to proc off of every single plimp from every attack. Especially if you have a polylute too. It is absoulyely situational when atg is better than plimp with clover. There are scarecely ever any black and white scenarios in ror2
