I feel survivors of the void is very reminiscent of terrarias Updates but I’m a more dlc format. entirely purposed to expand ideas and rarely being overbearing with implementing new ideas as the framework is set rather than skipped. Really respect that kind of content choice alot

you mean Terraria updates? if you want a better example of good DLCs then Hollow Knight, but is it really a DLC if it's integrated into all games X version+? I think for something to truly qualify as a DLC it has to be paid separately from the game, otherwise it's just an update.

@@shalvei_ well dlc is downloadable content, it qualifies by being extra content that is patched into the game as a new version update, hence dlc can be free. Doesn’t have to be paid for at all infact you’ve probably heard the term free dlc such as animal crossing new horizons and such. Just terrarias is really well integrated dlc despite being free so it’s a good comparison

The Gup enemy: the Gup is a slime like monster that can split into different types of monsters. Its main and only attack is his melee spike attack. Which does 100 damage (+50 every level). I may be biased about his damage BUT back to the topic: Gup can be extremely dangerous and can be found in stages: 4 and stages higher. Here are the names of its split monsters: Geep, and Gip. (excluded gup since its the main monster.) I really like how Foekoe reviews this dlc

You should check out neon abyss. It does a similar thing to this game where you collect items to power yourself up and eventually become incredibly powerful. But even with all that the game still kicks your ass.Highly recommend it.
