Risk of Rain Returns - "Slide to the Finish!" medal guide (Tactical Slide)

This guide / tutorial / walkthrough shows how to obtain a gold medal time in the Risk of Rain Returns Providence Trial known as "Slide to the Finish!" This particular trial unlocks Commando's alternate utility skill "Tactical Slide," which you will be utilizing throughout this challenge. The trial is currently one of my favorites in the game and it was a lot of fun trying to figure out the best ways to shave off seconds of my time and obtain gold. In the video I analyze my gold medal replay run in order to explain each section in detail and break down how it all works. Afterwards I play through the entire clip without interruption.

This is a great trial and would love for this to be its own game mode. Keep in mind that my route here is not necessarily the "best" possible way to do this, it's just how I personally found I was able to consistently make gold.

I love the addition of Providence Trials, I currently have 13 gold medals and grinding to get a couple more for the artifact.

Good work! I think I am right about there with you around 12 or 13 golds myself (of course I make sure to stop and put out a little tutorial every time haha) but I am absolutely loving these, each one is like it's own mini-game.
