As somebody that lives in the south i would say we have more hospitality so we seem nicer but dont get it twisted we will tell it straight like it is like new yorkers so personality could be different to them. Also we value different stuff in the south you have to make it do what it do with what we have which at times is not much compared to higher end places like new york. So we value different things but definitely not bad personalities we are welcoming ppl but dont try and get over. And our slang is different so we have sayings down here that might make them question our motive but same could be said about new york.
