Haribo, Kinder and Werthers are actually European brands, but very popular in the UK. It might surprise you to learn that Kitkat, Twix, and Starburst are all originally British though. Happy Hippos are hazelnut cream, not peanut butter (in Europe hazelnut is much more common than peanut in chocolate, though we do have some peanut-based options). Prawn Cocktail crisps don't actually contain any prawn (what you call shrimp) they are flavoured with the traditional cocktail sauce (Marie Rose Sauce) which is based on mayo and ketchup. Parma Violets are flavoured with Violet flowers which is why they taste perfume-y. They are definitely an acquired taste, but I quite like them, though I prefer Violet Creams (which have a Violet flavoured fondant coated with chocolate, sort of like a peppermint patty). Maltesers is pronounced Malt-Ease-ers, and Pastilles is pronounced Pastels.

It might seem like it should be German as Kinder is a German word but thats because the Kinder Brand was initially launched in Italy and Germany and they wanted a name that would work in both markets.They are made by Ferrero most famous for the Ferrero Rocher but also make Nuttella and Tik-Taks amongst other things

Loved this video. I’m from the uk and with the terrys chocolate orange your ment to smash it on your counter and they all break in unison like an orange. Also the accent had me weak quan. We don’t all talk like that 😂. Also if you notice in the refreshers they have sour powder in them. The digestives aren’t for your digestive system they’re just a brand. And they taste lovely if you dunk them in your cup of tea. My favourite is the dairy milk whole nut bar. And the best walkers chips are cheese and onion 😊. I’ve been waiting for this kind of video for a very long time. And I’ve been watching you guys from day dot. Love you guys ❤

Haribo and Kinder are GERMAN snacks. “Nuss” means nut in german. Alot of our german snacks ingredients have hazelnuts in them. Kinder hippos and terrys chocolate orange are top tier, most of these are tbf. Most people get a chocolate orange for Christmas but they’re sold all year, you have to try the popping candy and white chocolate ones🤤 I like to dip digestives in tea🤤 but they’re so good on their own

Loved the video, just an FYI we moretime wont eat biscuits without a good cuppa so if you get the digestives again or jammie dodgers or custard creams/bourbons and find a video on how to make a good cuppa english breakfast (Yorkshire tea is the best, use boiled water and add the milk only after youve properly brewed it). A good cup of tea COMPLETELY changes the biscuit game if you dunk or if you nip then sip. As a munchies aficionado i most definitely endorse Tea with Biscuits.
