Ristar the Shooting Star on Atgames Sega genesis knockoff

Me playing ristar on my Atgames Sega genesis. Sorry for bad quality, galaxy s10e's suck in that regard. I can get all the secrets but I just chose not too and it would cause more audio splitting in the final product. For anyone who has not played the game, its a lot harder than it looks and you have to be really specific with the timing.I think it happens around Splash-Snow where that audio gets messed up sorry sorry about that. Ristar is made by Sega and the sonic team and I do not take credit for anything other than the shown gameplay

The atgames version was my first experience with Sega Genesis games. I didn't know about the negative reviews about it so I assumed the audio was the original. When I heard the music for Ristar on the Atgames Sega Genesis, I thought the entire soundtrack were back-to-back bangers. . .and then I looked up the actual ost XD

OK, but why does “Next Cruise” (the final song at the end of the game) sound a little more emotional than the original? AtGames did a VERY pisspoor job with the sound emulation, and I see why Rerez’s complaints were justified about this console, but I gotta give credit where it’s due. Doesn’t mean I can excuse this game being played on this crapbox, especially with how they also butchered Crazy Kings (the name of the boss theme).

@@crackpotpolitics5986 Kind of funny how you say that since I managed to get through a lot of levels in Kid Chameleon, yet I don't get physical pain. It's not like it's inhumanly bad on the Atgames console. It's just that the emulation is not that good. The wireless controllers work well with me most of the time, aside from a few hiccups here, & there. Plus, I've been playing that game for quite a while now, so I'd know what to do for the first 9 levels. Heck, even RSD Game Maker games I have gotten used to with their 3-jump-button control scheme, helping that my laptop is smaller than the usual PC, making it easier to digest those kind of controls. I mean, I've played Bubsy 3D for crying out loud, which is FAARRRR worse than most RSD Game Maker games I've played!!!

@@crackpotpolitics5986 Thing is, I have a laptop, so I can go on Ssega where I can play some other Genesis games with better emulation. I usually only use the Atgames Genesis either for those 80 built in games, or games I own physically(which will be adding up as times goes on). Plus, as mediocre as the emulation is, I am not selling my Atgames Genesis for a real one. I've had it for too long for me to consider trading it off. Besides, the real deal is just going to be the same thing, except it being the source instead of emulation, which will mean buying all of the 40 physically released Genesis games that were built in the Atgames machine, & I'm NOT willing to pay high prices for some of those games, definitely a big no, not to mention the one I have is the FOURTH Atgames Genesis I had in my lifetime, & I want it to last for as long as it could! I MIGHT consider getting new controllers with turbo functions because there are some games that would play better with turbo mode.

This is a knockoff Sega genesis made by Atgames so it's soundchip is pitched down. The entire game sounds weird if you have played the actual.

The opening wasn't that bad, and the Arpeggio in Pray! Pray! Pray! had a more obvious C Minor feel
