Yes, there is an option to have a single. I believe it costs extra or you must have an accommodation through RIT. I would definitely double-check that information on RIT's website: rit.edu/housing

In terms of classes, fall semester was partially online (synchronous and asynchronous) and in-person for me. I know some students stayed home and did their classes fully remote.

Hi! This was such a lovely video! I was just wondering what your roommate's setup was like (is there enough space for it to be similar to yours?), because I'm having issues visualizing how big these dorms are. Also, how do you think NRH and Ellingson compare? :)

There was not enough room for my roommate's side to be set up like mine. The room was a rectangle so her bed was on the opposite wall. Because of space, my roommate had to keep her dresser in her closet and purchase a rolling clothing rack to store more of her clothes elsewhere. I hope that makes sense! I've never been in an NRH dorm room, so I'm not sure what the set up is like. I know the placement of the closets in Ellingson determines where the beds and everything can fit, so some other people in the same building had completely different room layouts than we did, so they were able to have both dressers out of the closets.
