Another well-made compilation, and your picks are spot on……although, while while ‘Gilda’ is most iconic for her, the first Hayworth movie that springs to mind for me is ‘Cover Girl’. My little daughter used to play my LaserDisc copy (yeah, Jack, it was that long ago 😆) and dance through the apartment like Rusty Parker. Hayworth and Gene Kelly are like toast and butter.

Re Fred Astaire's dance partners: Ginger Rogers seems Classical in poise, Rita Romantic in exuberance. One can see that Ginger studied and learned; Rita simply erupts in dancing splendour.
