This is one of those shows that was too good to end. Some shows carry on too long, but this was just good enough for two or three more seasons. The storylines were so suprising and refreshing, and the way Rita dealt with the problems she encountered was nothing but unexpected. There aren’t many characters in TV as deep as she is. The amount of layers that the writers have given her without falling in repetition or clichés is just astounding. It is, and forever will be, one of the best TV shows ever made

I adored Rita as well as the series itself. I am very, very sad that the series ended. It was of great benefit during the pandemic , but we miss Rita now and everyone surrounding her. Please bring her back!!!

Rita, the show, the writers and the character will be sorely missed. I have been done with cable and broadcast ‘entertainment’ because in America the ‘content’ is an excuse and lure to sell, sell, sell. OK, but the gentle agreement or uneasy balance has no longer a pretense of respect for the story- this was ENJOYABLE to be a part of ! My feelings and brain were exercised. Very enjoyable show. Characters wonderful, writing wonderful, actors did a superlative job. Fell in love with Rita, probably Mille, too. Levi Strauss is missing a golden advertising opportunity: having Mille/Rita modeling 501 shrink to fit Levis. Sales would skyrocket.

One of the best Netflix series I’ve ever watched! Absolutely loved it. And seriously, who didn’t love Hjørdis??!! There’s a spin off of Rita called Hjørdis now. That’s next on my watch list!

After the last episode of season 5 I started it again, watchin it now simultaniously with a friend :-). I would miss it too much. It kept me happy all the months til now. The figure of Rita gives a lot of power and strength. Unperfectly perfect.

The directors of Rita did and amazing job. Take a simple topic and made from it an Oscar serie. The contrast of the characters, the play of the actors, text, sceneries, situations, decor, everything seems soooo real. At some pictures I had to stand up and applaud. Bravo 👏 that’s professionalism.
