Which one of my three songs on this album do you like the best and why?

Rita, I am literally in the middle of all three of these songs in my life. But I think the one that speaks the most of them all is I Think He Is. I pray I don't make this too long. But this last year had been a living hell with warfare against promises the Lord had given me. Opening my mouth AT ALL to anyone except who the Lord included in these promises has caused so much more warfare than there should've been. I'm exhausted. I've spend the last 6 months with enemy spirits beating the hell out of me trying to make me believe I didn't hear correctly from the Lord when I absolutely did. And the warfare is the PROOF! I finally reached out to my newly placed pastor and his prophet friend asking for help really with carrying the promises and fighting off the warfare. But in giving all the details, and whatever else they thought they heard and saw about me and my situation, I was the one made out to be "in error" on certain parts of visions I was given and information I was told by the Lord. Mind you, I received all these things WHILE IN MY SECRET PLACE OF PRAYER (MY WORK CLOSET), WHILE IN WORSHIP ON MY JOB, WHILE PRAYING IN TONGUES, AND WHILE FASTING ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, AND EVEN IN GOD GIVING ME SEVERAL SCRIPTURAL SUPPORTS AND NEARLY DAILY CONFIRMATIONS OF HIS PROMISES, yet "I'm the one" misinterpreting what I saw and heard, but my pastor and his prophet friend aren't. At first, I allowed them to talk me into this because of things that the Lord revealed to them that was true. But after 3 days and then addressing some things with someone that God specifically told me would not chose Him, would not repent for a sin that left me uncovered in the Spirt and open to demonic attacks, but I KNEW the Lord was right about this person. And I've since had to literally take my pastor and his prophet friend to the Lord in the courts of heaven about how things were handled and even without my permission interfered in a relationship that the Lord is calling me to in the furture, to break communication between us until "he" thinks it's ok to reconnect. And I've literally felt just like Elijah sent to the brook Cherub. And I KNOW the only way I'm getting the vindication, recompense, reconciliation, restoration, and favor that I've been asking God for in prayer for all these months, is to WAIT FOR GOD TO DO IT DESPITE everyone else's interference with my Good Father trying to provide Godly Covering to HIS DAUGHTER. DESPITE what people think of how He's doing it, or who He's doing it through, or how it looks to people right now. This is why I identify with ALL three songs. But most specifically the I Think He Is song. Thank you sister, for the transparent writing. THE REMNANT BRIDE OF CHRIST DESPERATELY NEEDS to learn how to be honest with God in how they are going through their journey's into their destinies and purposes. Because you're right to a degree. I don't think we all necessarily fantasize about the "outcome" like what the Lord had shown me. I think it's mostly that the Lord is not showing us the details of how difficult the journey is going to be to get us to that final destination of what He shows and promises us. Like with the Israelites coming out of Egypt and through the Red Sea. The Lord said that they would become discouraged and turn around and go back to their bondage in Egypt if they have to go and face those waring people. So He took them the LONG WAY AROUND them. I believe that's what God is doing right now with His Remnant Bride. With His most enduring and mighty warriors in the faith. Building CRAZY FAITH within His people to match His WRECKLESS LOVE FOR US. ❤️

What is happening!?!! I was in shock listening to this. Thank you for being obedient to do this album Rita. Each of these songs gives words to the season my husband and I are in and things we’re wrestling through and learning. Growing up (and still) in the charismatic church we have had to wrestle through stuff that is said that doesn’t always line up with what God wants to do. Our hearts cry has been “don’t let us miss what you have for us in the struggle.” He doesn’t waste anything. I seriously can’t wait for this album to be released. I know it will touch and bring healing to many hearts.

I think He is. Whew! That’s powerful. I feel like you have been with me throughout my life. I met you in 2000 when you came to a worship event at our church - fell in love with your heart for Jesus (and piano playing) then. During my divorce in 2007 I had your albums on repeat and they are what pulled me through and kept my face turned towards God: where else could I go? Now almost 25 years later and a new painful season emerges and this songs drifts across my screen and I stop. The words. The melody. My souls does a double take and the tears come. This. You would never lead me to a place You’d ever leave me! It’s all about trusting Him in spite of all the feelings that tell us not to. This song is so faith filled that it provokes us to trusting Him even when we have wanted to shake a fist at heaven. He is trustworthy and singing this back to Him fills us with faith that He will not leave us. Thank you Rita for sharing your pain and your gift. I LOVE “I think He is”. So raw, real and true! My family has walked through a long, dessert/wilderness experience these past 3 or so years. The Lord gave me the verse of Isaiah 43:19 during that time and had to wait to see that promise come to pass only recently. Your lyrics are so relatable! Rita, I’ve always loved your worship but I am so excited for this song/these songs to be released. During the days of Covid we experienced child loss. We believed in seeing Him heal our son’s body, didn’t have His, “Yes”, but desperately prayed and worshiped, then we “didn’t see the miracle”. This episode... greatly blessed by the vulnerability and authenticity here. I resonate deeply with the conversation around "I Think He is." The arc of my journey has been about whether He is enough. I once told Him He wasn't... but later came into the security that my very bringing that pain straight to Him was faith in itself. That He welcomes an honors our real. The songs... such a gift to listeners, so much so in this season. I wanted to ask, too, if you guys have read Hinds Feet on High Places. I just re-read it, and your conversation powerfully echoes Much-Afraid's surrender on the altar in chapter 16, "Grave on the Mountains." It doesn't even appear that the Shepherd is there in her hardest test, but she has previously (chapters 12 and 13) come to the point of deciding that even if her circumstances should seem to prove Him a liar, she can't live without Him. In the end it's revealed He was there all along.

I Think He Is is so applicable to my 2023 - worst of my almost 69 years. God didn't create the brutal circumstances/events, but He allowed me to be in them...He had me right where He knew I needed to be. I knew what His Word said; my brain knew the truth. My heart on the other hand needed to know the same truth and gaining that heart truth required me to not only know I wasn't in control, but to fully relinquish myself to Him in the deepest way that I wasn't aware of. Now my head and heart are in agreement. Never too old for refinement in the valleys and deserts.
