Finally someone that knows Blackmore. He was just messing around on this. Yes Ritchie is one of a kind. He has created more Original Music than anyone else in the Business never repeating himself. I just watched a Concert that he did late in Rainbow with Doogie White on vocals and Ritchie was absolutely amazing. Fast and clear. Every note so clean no matter how fast he played. And his touch has no equal. Absolutely outstanding. If people would take the time and educate themselves on Ritchie they would mesmerized by his talents.

@@96slavko This performance only represents one side of Blackmore. The side here is his "wild side." It doesn't rear its head often, but when it does, things get crazy. For example, at the end of the Deep Purple California Jam concert in 1974, he smashed three strats and blew up his amps. The other side, the side I personally love about Blackmore, is his melodic, neoclassical style. It's evident from his guitar solos in "Burn" and "Highway Star." His neoclassical side became more evident with his next band, Rainbow. Without Ritchie, Yngwie Malmsteen wouldn't be the neoclassical metal shredder he is.
