Ritchie, how does Cleric feel as a caster DPS/healer hybrid? Does it feel viable, or do you have to melee as cleric if you wanna hybrid?

While Melee can feel a bit slower, they do have some DPS spells that can pack a punch, and with the heals they have an insanely high rate of survivability. Cleric is the only S tier archetype right now IMO

@@RitchieSH Really? Xillin and a lot of other people are saying Bard is the only S tier rn, and fairly better than Cleric. Interesting. Which one has more capability as an offensive caster you think, Bard or Cleric?

@@Auld17 Bard is up there for sure.. It has some pretty cool abilities that give you shields/mana-regen/speed buffs and all of that good stuff, but they are soft and squishy, where as clerics can take a hit. I think the Bard has a much more fun kit though and more options, where as if you want to do DPS as a cleric you really need to pick a specific path. So bard probably has more capability, but overall I still think if you put a Cleric up against a bard in 1v1 the Cleric would come out on top

I'll be playing soon for the first time, so I'm not sure what to main given how disappointing Mage turned out to be (AoE Elementalist), so considering Bard, Ranger, and Cleric. Hopefully Ranger's fixed by the time I get in. This is a lot of helpful info bro, thank you.

That depends on you. I personally think it is, but you need to go into it looking at it as testing a game not playing one, as your character will prob get wiped a few times and it’s very unfinished

@@RitchieSH sorry last question. Based on your time playing, do you genuinely believe the studio has the capability of finishing the game in 2025 which I believe is the planned release date? A lot of people are very skeptical. Love the game & concept just don't want to get hyped for something that stays stuck in development hell

@ 2025 is not the planned release so I’m not sure where that is coming from. Intrepid has said Phase 3 will run at least a year which puts it in May 2026 before we even see the betas

@@basilias_Ligyron seems like you don’t know what a good game is. This is a terrible showing of what 8 years and 100s of millions of dollars has been spent. It’s not like that even have to think up any gameplay loops of their own or animations. They can just modify everything from other games, you can’t even auto attack off skills on cooldown you have to press a separate button just to friggin auto attack or try and right click(which is janky as hell).

@@Deathspade66 I’ll type it again, the auto attack doesn’t work unless the skill is off cooldown. Yes you can auto attack but after using the skill. I should be able to auto attack by default even if any skill I press is off or on cooldown. It’s a basic MMO feature lacking in this “game”. It’s dumb that auto attack has a whole separate button.
