I like how in this, just like Jurassic Park and the Walking with Dinosaurs BBC miniseries, it doesn't portray the dinosaurs as cutesy cartoon characters or as movie monsters, but rather as what they really were: actual animals.

Yes, this hand drawn cartoon from 1940s actually does realistic dinosaurs better than the hi-tech CGI Dinosaur 2000 or even just animated realism far better than the 2019 Lion King!

@@FeliDJrah Well it was 1940 so the dinosaur designs not ageing well is forgivable as they didn't know as much about dinosaurs as we do now. It gets the message of the dinosaurs being animals acting on instinct to survive down quite well. Even the T-Rex here didn't kill and eat the Stegosaurus for fun, it did it to survive like a lion killing and eating a wildebeest would.....

Thanks Neon-sphinx foster for showing a video of my favorite Disney animated movie. The rite of spring was my favorite animated sketch in the movie fantasia and I loved seeing all of the dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and marine reptiles. The apatosauruses were my favorite dinosaurs in the movie and I know it is not scientifically accurate but it was made for entertainment and I still enjoy watching it just for fun. I 🧡 🦕🦖!

This wasn't so far off of what would have happened after the asteroid impact. The dinosaurs that didn't die from the asteroid would have slowly died very similar. First they would have had the heat from the blast that burned out everything including watering holes and lakes. Then the ash would have caused the death of all edible plants and slowly snuffed out most of the sun light. So those that had survived the asteroid, then the heat blast, would have slowly frozen.

Oh don’t get me wrong, the orchestra is amazing! My thoughts are that the dinosaur sound effects are to show the viewers the intensity of this particular segment of rite of spring. Not saying that we should eliminate this video, but to also share what it would be like if it’s just dinosaurs. :)

I'll never understand how that Allosaurus/TRex hybrid didn't get mortally injured from getting hit by that Stegosaurus four times, unless he had very thick skin.

Actually that's why i added that "metal hit" sound for that part. Gives the idea of that hybrid having metallic skin or something because normally that kind of hit would kill it on the spot (most of those strikes were in the neck!)
