Note: IISER and NISER is best institute for research not for placement. After 5 years BSMS most of student's go for PHD of 3 to 6 years. On average 10 years you have to do study after 12th.

@@RamenKatsudon So basically the courses are designed by professors and most of the content don't match with other engineering colleges of India .Level is higher and more application oriented hardly will you ever get any theory or direct application based questions in midsems and endsems so if you attend the classes you are miles ahead of those who don't since the proof basically teach some concepts which are rarely found in the books I mean the common prescribed books he must be using some other research material or stuff I don't . This goes with 90 percent of the courses . Hence attending the course is the best choice also since grading is relative it is quite difficult to get a good cg . Also there are those surprise test in class but that is highly branch dependent phoenix branch is notorious for their surprise tut test rest branches it is chill test are announced mostly

I am a bitsian. I can tell that the 0% attendance is removed from bits hyderabad. They now include attendance in evaluation. So whoever wanna come just consider this point. Otherwise overall clg is best.
