Yep - was quite crazy - I was afraid that the chopper would blow my tent away, but it stood.. And yes - the tour next day made up for it :)

You just inspired me to do Ritter and Banner this year!!!! That whole valley I know inside and out since my dad used to drag me up there since the mid 60s. Every Place in your video I knew exactly where you were. The music was great and like I say I’m going to do those peaks because of your great video. Wish me luck maybe I’ll talk my sister into doing it with me since she knows those Mountains as well as I do.. Her and I might be old, but we are tough and hard to kill..haha 👊🏼 Stay safe out there, my friend

Great video, but the music is too raucous. I like your other videos with softer music.

Great video, and great music. But please, not the two together. We come here for the sound of the wind, the rush of water, the crunch of boots, a bit of narration. The music made this video unbearable for me.

Thanks for the feedback ! Indeed the music is too loud, and not really appropriate - will try to redo a bit.. The issue is that you would probably not like to hear me talking, and a lot of live sound is just wind noise in the mic.

Have you done the Clyde variation? Do you think it would save time if confident on crampons? Also, how was the exposure on Ritter compared to Lyell or Maclure?

I don't know exactly what I did - the hardest parts were 1/ the climb up from the valley that goes to Ritter-Banner pass - it was a pretty steep icy climb for a while (the snow/mixed slope seen on the left of the picture @3:45), and 2/ the final chute before getting to the ridge - I am panning it up @4:20. If the versions are how to get into the upper 'glacier' seen @4:11, I think I took the Clyde variation to the left - which had indeed more snow, and seemed more approachable. I think it was no real exposure on the route - except the normal icy slope. Maclure does not have much exposure either, and Lyell has some on the first part of the final ridge. Good luck and plmk if you need more pointers.
