i play ritual beasts in duel links and it’s my favorite. this deck was released almost a year ago and was tiered for quite a while. konami decided to limit elder to 2 cause it allowed quick otks. the deck in duel links is about summoning pettlephin (cause we don’t have steeds), bouncing cards back and swinging with the monsters in combination with bond. it‘s also one of the few decks that require brain. sadly invoked counters this deck with purgatrio‘s multiple piercing attacks and cocytus (limited to 1 anyway) completely walling this deck until they draw into a card to deal with it.

Very detailed, almost made me play the deck (i've been made to wait 30 minutes for a turn 1 from a bad player when first saw the deck IRL and since then i harbor a severe dislike for the loops -also he cheated quite a lot- but i dont hate it like some others) They revealed the effect of the Jump Dragunity tuner: Dragunity Guisarm Level 3 WIND Dragon Tuner Effect Monster ATK 600 DEF 1600 You can only use this card name’s (1) and (2) effects once per turn each. (1) When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower WIND Dragon/Winged Beast monster in your GY; Special Summon it, but its effects are negated. (2) While this card is currently equipped to a monster: You can Special Summon this card. Feels like extra, if only a Dragunity Spell/Trap has "You can banish this card from your GY; Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Dragunity" monster from your hand" to help promote it. Then eating nibiru will be a major flex. Since both effects are HOPT, they should have let it trigger on special as well. Please make an update taking it into account as a possible extender in the current build (it can open some new options with the odd level) or how it functions as a starter (i believe for it to replace Senatus/Dux in hand, you must open Remus and an extender like Legatus) (something personal: twitch lets me change quality now, i was on the stream but fell asleep during the ketcup thing.... work is quite stressful right now...... thanks for everything... BUT WE NEED SOME MORE DECK DISCUSSION!!! The input you provide in your decks is very well scripted and detailed. Top quality content)

Really refreshing combos, glad to see them. If anyone is really really REALLY that concerned about banishing copies of Ulti-Cannahawk off of Extravagance, you could always run the new Gizmek Mikoto monster to put back all the cards banished off Extravagance, although by the time you're able to do that the game should almost be over anyways.

Youre second points kinda kills the first one. I don't like Extravaganz, since while boosting your consistency it also decreases it when you banish 2 canahawk, since Pengu opens lose a lot of strength. Banishing just one though is pretty good

@@GameOfWulf 1) Banishing 2 Ulti-Cannas of Extrav is not a decrease to consistency, it is a decrease to the power ceiling of 1 combo. Those are not the same thing. The deck is still by nature more consistent drawing 2 cards even if 1 combo can now do slightly less with those additional cards. 2) The Elder + Rampengu combo is still completely fine tho, it is in no overlay significant way weaker than having multiple Ulti-Cannas. It is a full combo into 2 searched Traps and the only thing it loses is 1 monster on the ending board. That's incredibly minor.

@@PhoenixFlareX yeah, youre right with the first one, I kinda had the consistency of playing one fairly specific Combo in mind. But the Power decrease still hurts. Many decks these days don't care about double steads. Apart from Minecraft.dek, which also can Play through it most decks in high and mid meta don't care. Eldlich just loses the Jet synchron combo and orcust bring's out ding by the time the second steeds would be fired. Also backrow removal in form of rein twister or lightning storm is played fairly often, While I do agree, double 4 non target monster pop is very strong, I think one has to build a more diverse board, so you don't lose to one hey, trunade. In which case, one has to try everything to keep the sealing as high as possible, where losing 2 Canahawk does hurt. Don't get me wrong. Extravagance is very good and worth playing but I personally prefer the desires version

I found out a combo that use Ritual Beast Return and this makes me wondering to use it in deck. Starting hand: Rampengu + Ritual Beast Return + Wen/Winda Normal Rampengu. Active its eff, banish Ulti-Kimunfalcos, send Elder to grave. Act Return, banish Wen/Winda ss Elder. Contact Elder + Rampengu = Ulti-Cannahawk. Act Ulti-Cannahawk target Ulti-Kimunfalcos and Rampengu, chain target Rampengu and Wen/Winda. Resolve ss them and add Lara to hand. Act Rampengu banish Ulti-Cannahawk, send Cannahawk to grave. Link Rampengu + Wen/Winda = Ulti-Kimunfalcos. Act Ulti-Kimunfalcos banish Wen/Winda, normal Lara, Lara then ss Cannahawk. Act Cannahawk banish Apelio. Contact Lara + Cannahawk = Ulti-Cannahawk. Ulti-Cannahawk target Ulti-Cannahawk and Lara, tagged out ss Lara and Apelio, search Steeds. Contact to Ulti-Cannahawk again, target anything, search Ambush. End board: Ulti-Cannahawk + Ulti-Kimunfalcos + Steeds + Ambush

Nice vid man, always came to you for ritual beasts content and i'm happy you did another since the new wynn just came out. One question though, how would you play this deck around nibiru? is it even feasible? i was thinking (haven't actually sat down to test yet), about the windwitch package, sure, you will be locked out of kimunfalcos, but i feel like with triple canna now you can still make an old combo + crystal while also being protected by the rock, and having a different type of interaction on your opponent's turn. Thanks to medium getting to Ice bell is easier than ever if you already have in your hand 2 ritual beasts cards that can pop off. The biggest downside imo is that you actually have to make space for the package, both in the main deck and in the extra, but i really can't remember when i last summoned ultigaia because i actually needed it and not just to flex. what do you think?

Yoo Phoenix fam! Been testing Red eyes Dragoon in the deck and its super good! Basically you just do a predaplant link at the end of the OG combo instead of the last Ulti-Kanna search (trading the last trap for a Negate its super good against Boardwipes!!). I also use triple Red-eyes fusion instead of the Pot Package for the cases when I brick (which still occurs even with Wynn unfortunately). I just shotgun Red-eyes, set a Winda and pass (which is so much better than just passing on a Pinguin/Kanna setup without combo and MAYBE a set steeds IMO). Anyway, just wanted to hear your thoughs regarding this TECH in Ritual beast particularly. Keep up the great videos bro!

For the Elder + Cannahawk combo and the *new* Elder + Rampengu combo, I've always Summoned Apelio off of Lara's effect, and then banished the Cannahawk in the GY with Apelio, so I could Summon it later to banish Winda. Does it change anything about the end result or the fragility of the combo? Also great video, once ROTD gets released I'm going to grind with this Deck so much lol

Nah it's just a different sequencing to get to the same result, your pieces are all in the proper places at points that matter anyway. I think I also used to do that until Ulti-Canna went back to 3, but now that the Elder+ Rampengu combo bins Cannahawk and summons it with Lara I've transitioned to summoning Cannahawk off Lara in every combo for mental shortcutting reasons.

It matters when you are trying to banish a level 4 with cannahawk in order to make a rank 4, so you would summon apelio first and then cannahawk second. If you do not want to make a rank 4, then you could go either or.

@@javieraguirre4463 not good against Adamantia? if they dont hard draw Block, you avoid a +3. Also it is a turn ender for dragon link (or the very popular rogue madolce). It even hurts Gurunumeron. You have to study a little bit your area, then if it is heavy on those decks you should definitely play it.

IMO Ritual beast is an upgrade version of Gusto, and Gusto is my favorite archetype since hope for gusto to being good is almost 0, Ritual beast being better is also good for me

Alternatively, Elder + Canahawk or Rampengu can end on Kimunfalcos + any Rank 4 like Bagooska + 1 Steeds If You Have Elder + Canahawk/Rampengu + Steeds/Ambush/Lara/Wen you can end on Apollousa for 3 + Steeds + Ambush

Yea the Gaiapelio stuff is strictly the worst option tho. Which sucks cause the card is really cool. Your hand has to be 5 ritual beast cards just for it to be like 3 negates with Ambush set so that you can actually win the game. The rank 4 and Apollousa options are pretty real tho. I just find they don't often come up more than just having a super well developed pile of Ritual Beast resources.

There's no real way to play around Nibiru with this deck. The only thing I do is if I have the ability I go out of my way to search Ambush as early as possible (off the first search if possible) so that if I get Nibiru'd I have a guaranteed play with it next turn.

i dunno man, even with a newer card pool it seems like the time for ritual beasts has come and gone. no built in protection from board wipes and/or kaijus/sphere mode/lava golem etc, can't play around nibiru, hand traps really hurt, and going second is even tougher. other wind decks (and even non-wind decks) have the option to make use of the simorgh link which you can't in this because nothing is a winged beast. i really wish this deck got the same level of support madolches did because right now the deck can't compete the same way it did back when nekroz was the big thing.
