great video! thank you for sharing with us a bit of druidry rituals and uses. I particularly love the opening of the circle with the spirits of animals. :)

In our Grove rituals we always come into the circle from the east and call the quarters from the East first as that's the direction the sun rises,this is the great thing about Druidry whether your part of a grove or a solitary,we all walk this path our own way

That's how we did it in a fraternity I was in. The guy in charge sat in the east, and as the sun rises in the east to lead the day, he rose in the east to lead us. I do the same now, alone.

I've been slowly developing rituals and acquiring others. No rush. It's lovely. I especially like to develop my own and be inspired by others. I appreciate ritual base such as the International Druid Peace Intention for Solitaries from TDN...as they encourage us to interpret. Lovely! It's interesting that different people begin from different directions. I like the west for those who want to follow the beginning of the Celtic day. For others, the Sunrise speaks to them of a beginning. I love both ways. Some, begin in the north! They find a North South line sings out to them. What is your thought on these varied beginnings for circle work?

Hmmm interesting question! I like arriving to my grove from the West (but that is the shortest route so?) But starting my ritual in the East. I've started in the South too, particularly on the Summer Solstice. I think the biggest impact on where I start though is the location of my ritual. Some spirits of place are just different

Dani thank you so much for this videos I've been enjoying them. Now I have a question my ancestors are from the north part of Spain and I understand There were some celts That inhabited that region. my question is; is Druidism strictly for Irish or Scandinavian descendants people?
@DanniEsotericMoment7 жыл бұрын
Nope! Druidry is for anyone. There is no requirement to have an ancestral connection to the Celts. Besides "Celtic" means a lot of different thing to different people. It's a hard word/connection to pin down.
