Self love was the best message in this movie, the rest of it was trash. This may have seemed like a happy ending but it really wasn’t. At the end of the day she’s still married to a cheater. Smh. What’s to stop him from doing it again? She should have taken her new found confidence and moved on. He doesn’t deserve her.

I think that last time she was doing her meditation she saw what was really going on and I also think the reason things worked out for her is that she had pure intentions and wasn't wishing no harm on anyone meanwhile the other lady had malicious intent plus he didn't even fully eat her food so what she was trying wasn't going to work like she wanted it to anyway.... this was really really good.

Just my opinion::: With “Rituals” I feel like the reason everything backfired on the voodoo woman was because the same spirits she was so called “telling” the main character about, was at Play the whole time. I think the main character (Regina hall) really did do the spell she was taught, however she didn’t put the juju on him she did on herself (like a “self love spell”)… but that’s the part they “don’t tell us” because of course they’d want us to catch on to her out of nowhere with emense confidence ESPECIALLY after her spiritual bath. She self loved herself which is the key to love anyways. And instead of using tools to “Manipulate energy” she used it in the right way. As for the voodoo woman, she got her karma which she should’ve known would come because “spirit” DON’T PLAY!!!!!!

My favorite people, Isaiah Washington, Regina King, & Jenifer Lewis.... I don't think she knew. It was the intention behind it. She put her energy into getting her husband back.
