After having listened Zappa for 24 years, the master of originality in my eyes, and having more than 150 playlists on Spotify with various music styles, among wich some of the most original pieces ever produced by human beings, ... I'm stunned by the richness of the polytonal composition of what I'm hearing here. There's inventive strechings of notes, and counter-balancing defying gravity. Moreover it's like I had discovered the perfect music to my soul. I don't understand how 6 years later, there is still only 9,2K thumbs up. This should be in the top of the charts. It has not only a spirit, it has guts, and the rhythm is mesmerizing. WTF with the people of this planet ?? This is my greatest discovery ♥

Okay thumbs down? The 88 people who didn't like this must not have ears, sad. Like how can you not like these beautiful musicians? This is amazing. This reminds of us how and why beautiful musicians do what they do. And how they can effect the world for the better. It's a universal (probably far past that into the comos) form of vibrational energy that everyone can connect on. IF Lord of the Rings was real, this would be the music for it. As a musician myself, I have SO much appreciation for what they did here. It takes SERIOUS patience, skill, dedication, and discipline to do what they do with those instruments. I am a musician myself, seeing the sheer at one zen they had with one another on multiple levels, really brought it all together so well. Each individual by themselves are truly gifted artists. But coming together? And making a group of angelic other worldly music, making a magical moment in the studio happen? Oh wow, really Phenomenal, flat out, so honored to have so many beautiful musicians and people on the earth to create music like this♥️🙏🏾

As mentioned, she isn't singing in the whistle register, but rather using an overtone technique, to throw her voice. She's quite possibly singing inaudibly at a much lower frequency, so as to create a basis for the overtones.

David Armstrong You are the only person who has called it "hers". How do you claim she stole it from another culture? That implies that she took something that cannot be replaced. Are Mongolians poorer now because she sings like this? Absolutely not. No one can deny her high level of technique, she is using overtone singing in a way that Mongolians never have. Also, many ancient cultures around the world have traditions of throat singing. To think that it only happened in Mongolia is wrong. Every artist in the world takes inspiration and techniques from others and then makes it their own.
