@alextorian Guru parampara has to go on just like the way it has been going on for so many centuries. We see no system setup in our philosophy where we can say "oh this guy chanted 16 round for 10 years, he is eligible to join the guru list." The problem it seems is that everyone wants to be a guru. I think this system encourages the cheaters and the real sadhus in our society go unnoticed. This is wrong. Parampara should go on.

@cofeerush Prabhupadas letter of july 7 1977 say otherwise he left the ritvik system. Prabhupada made many changes like giving the gayatri to women and making them do arati in an altar. parampara does not stop with ritvik initiation, thats ignorant talk YOU ARE ALL ARGUING PRABHUPADAS INSTRUCTIONS

Everything bothers this gentleman: ram instead of rama ; mridanga beats; tempo of the chant; improper kartala playing. At the end of the day Srila Prabhupada was thrilled and delighted anytime the name of Krishna was written or sung. I contend that a true ecstatic Kirtan- - by definition and practical reality-- cannot follow the strict and unrealistic requirements outlined by this gentleman. Any of Aindra Prabhu's ecstatic 24 hour kirtans will reveal this truism. One can see many of these on youtube. I would suggest further that Aindra inspired thousands of individuals to chant the Hari Krishna maha mantra. At the end of the day is this not the true goal? Jayadvaita can't see the forest for the trees.He inspects grains of sand but seemingly misses the beach. The message is and has always been---CHANT HARE KRISHNA AND BE HAPPY. While thousands of people ecstatically chant and dance to Aindra Prabhu and are happy, Jayadvaita cannot be happy. He must constantly find fault. You see Jayadvaita may disagree with the Mridranga beat, improper tempo, bad pronunciation, wrong kartala technique. But it is not a mere dispassionate disagreement. It is a disagreement accompanied by an agitated mind. Jayadvaita seems always pissed, annoyed, disturbed, whiny, and irritated, And holier-than-thou. He is reminiscent of the common scold and finger wagger. He appears as the pedantic professor drowning in footnotes but missing the main plot. I really feel bad for him. We know this because of his use of his trademark and oft heard terms such as" yuck" or" worse than useless" etc. We also note copious facial expressions connoting displeasure or dismissive waving of arms. He is so often a downer, the negative guy, the policeman, chicken little proclaiming the sky is falling. At the end of the day I would suggest that Aindra Prabhu (even with his fast tempo and wild mridangas) inspired more people in one kirtan than Jayadvaita in a lifetime. Look at Aindra's eyes when he chants and tell me he has not pleased Krishna. I wonder if Krishna is pleased by this gentleman dismantling, rebuking, and chastising those who say ram instead of rama or those who chant so fast gathered up in a vortex of transcendental ecstasy.

Prabhupad himself said to chant with proper pronunciation according to one's capacity. While singing there is a tendency to morph lyrics of a song, should we treat Krishna's names in the same way? Simply use it as tool for a tune? "In a wave of ecstasy one may sometimes chant differently" but I am quite certain that for 99% of people our ecstasy is quite temporary and hence it is just a product of the mind, if it was real ecstasy it would be unending.

Why tell a Guru who must be free from the 3 Gunas and the duality, half-truths about the Ritvik and what the Ritviks thinking! And incite the own disciple against the Ritvik People.Nobody say that you can accept every Guru and Tradition now we chanting 16 Rounds and women can be iniciated and on the Altar! This will not Krishna (BG iam vada), when you are so sure Advaita Swami make a Video with the Ritviks and the Ritvik tell something about Ritvik, Direction of management, the tousand People who must left the ISKCON because they had doubts and wanted to Enlightenment! 1971 the secret GBC meetings and other Points and this Video must be on every Internetpage from Prabhupadanugas and the Iskcon! This is my Narayana-astra for the Ritvik debate. Ritviks are not able to give answer. Ofcourse they love to play with cherry picked quotes! If Srila Prabhupada wants the ritvik system to go for eternity, why is there no such proof in his writing? Give me a clear statement! Why would Srila Prabhupada neglect to mention something as important as this ritvik system in writing? Why? Why? Why? Any sane person should accept this fact that there is no such proof! 75-09-02.Omk Letter: Omkara "Unless it is there from me in writing, there are so many things that “Prabhupada said.” 68-12-03 Letter: Hamsaduta "Those possessing the title of Bhaktivedanta will be allowed to initiate disciples. Maybe by 1975, all of my disciples will be allowed to initiate and increase the numbers of the generations. That is my program." From this statement it is abundantly clear that Prabhupada’s mission from the very beginning was to educate his disciples so some of them would become qualified diksa gurus and initiate their own disciples. He wants to transfer the title of Bhaktivedanta and the power to preach and accept disciples to his disciples. He clearly states that “this is my program.” The qualification is there… One must pass the examination on all the books… “Our students must be well versed in all of our books so they are prepared to defeat all opposing parties in the matter of self-realization.” Considering the statements of Srila Prabhupada quoted above and the hundreds of others along the same lines it is completely bizarre for Krishna Kant to claim: “There is no evidence of Srila Prabhupada issuing specific orders for his disciples to become diksa gurus.” It is the statement of a crazy fellow.

what a weak argument.All these arguments have been debunked a 1000 times over by ISKM. Order is not equal to desire of course Srila Prabhupada gave a clear order to follow it in the the july 1977 letter but people try to misinterpret that to prove the guru system. Actually the argument is not to prove the truthful ritvik system but rather where is the authorisation for the flase gbc voting guru system where has Srila Prabhupada authorised that
