Yes, We got four excursions from Sunwing in the hotel. It was very safe and not expensive. You can find full list of trips in the lobby.

1. Full day - Arenal Hanging Bridges + La Fortuna Waterfall + Tabacon Hot Springs. It was private tour for four people, because we additionally attended the paradise place - Tabacon Hot Springs. It was not included in standard tour.

2. Half of day - Diamante Eco Adventure Park with exotic animals & birds + Superman zipline

3. Full day - Monteverde cloud forest hanging bridges. It is an amazing place on the clouds in the rainforest jungles

4. Half of day - Sunset and snorkeling catamaran tour. from Riu Palace beach

It is possible walking on road to the beach. You need turn left from hotel beach towards Monkeys cafe in jungle. After cafe you have to turn right on the road and keep walking. After 20 min you should find a narrow entrance in the fence on the right side with path to the wihite sand beach. There will be a sign - No Trespassing 😀

The water footage of the fish , was that taken by the hotel as well ? I thought the water would be more murky... looks visible from your shots !

Are the monkeys located by the hotel or are they located elsewhere… I would love to experience the monkeys

The monkes come from jungle to the beach nearby the hotel to get some food from people. It was amaizing

White face and Howler monkeys are both right at the resort, White face by the beach and Howler by the Guanacaste resort.
