We were here 2 years ago and we'll be going back tomorrow July 16th. The service and food was amazing and we are hoping it will be the same experience. I do see a little more seaweed then the last time we were there, but that seems to be happening everywhere. You can't let the little things bother you.

Hey. Thanks for sharing your video. I'm going there in 5 weeks. Looks good. But did I see it right? Not much seats on the beach and not much shade provided by umbrellas? And lots of seaweed? Didn't see many people in the water there. All info on this hotel is very much welcome 😊

Hi. There are plenty of sun lounges up and down the beach, that's not an issue. There aren't any umbrellas but we found some nicely naturally shaded area's to sit under. There is a bit of sea weed on the beach which gets picked up by a team, but it didn't spoil it for us. There can be some sea weed in the sea, some days more than others. The sea is nice and warm though. They do serve drinks on the beach all day. Hope this helps.

@@smulick1 was your room new & refurbished or was it older and in the need of decoration in your opinion.?

@@jayjayharvey24 I felt it needed a lick of paint. We changed rooms on the first day as the one they put us in smelt really damp. The next one was alot better but like I said needed redecorating. This didn't spoil the holiday for us though, what made the difference was the staff. The cleaners leave freshly picked flowers when they do your room, and waiting staff really friendly.

@@nancystevelinck7600 At dinner times there is the buffet put on at the building near the pool (which is also the Italian restaurant and steak house in the evening), but if you go past that building the next building along is called 'Crystal' and no one will tell you that you can have a sit down meal at dinner times there. We only found out from another couple who happened upon it one dinner time. That's worth a visit. We tried the katamaran sailing. Initially you need to pay $30.00 for a lesson (needs to be booked), then after that you can book more sessions for $20.00 deposit (which is refunded to you after the session) and you don't need a tutor. The beach is a public space, so there will be local people trying to sell you cigars, pictures, hats, sunglasses. They are there every day, but tell no no gracias and they move on. They don't persist they weren't a problem. There is a pina coladar man with a trolly who comes around too. Well worth buying one. You get the drink in a fresh pineapple, and you get the fruit that was removed from the centre on a plate to eat.
