went to the other riu...I think its the riu santa fe..not sure of the name.same color band ...brown...so we had lunch there...beaches are way better...no seaweed like the peninusula...pool like clarity...gotta admit..lots of hot looking Latinas all over the resorts...hope your girl didn't catch u looking...lol

@@tednguyen8310 That's interesting - we didn't have much seaweed at all when we visited. The RIU next door is the Caribe - Santa Fe is in Cabo.

ok I got it...it was the las americanas….way better beach ..had same color band so you can eat there....the Caribe is like orange band so you can eat there too but lower quality food....las americanas has no rocks or seawood...really pretty....Caribe is a little cheaper in price not as nice...no air conditioning open lobby.....

Hey! Great video ! Very informative! My question is if you need an exclusive access to go or is it for anyone staying at the resort ? Also, does the buffet offer different foods at different times of the day !? Or is it the same menu all day ? Hope you can answer me questions! Thank you

Hey there Bryan, The main buffet offers a breakfast menu (that typically doesn't change much throughout the week), and a dinner menu (which has themed nights throughout the week). The "steakhouse" restaurant turns into a lunchtime buffet, and food is typically the same throughout the week as well. There is no additional access required for the buffets or a la carte specialty restaurants. All your food is included in your "All inclusive" package price. That's the way we like it!

We loved the Barcelo complex- particularly the Barcelo Maya Riviera. The Hard Rock hotels in Riviera Maya are also excellent 👌🏻👌🏻

They did have different themes. International night, seafood, Asian, etc etc. It was a nice change. They do have some typical food you’ll see every night though.

Yes, very comparable 👍🏻 the ones in Vegas offer more American style food, whereas you have more international offerings in Mexico.

Meine Reise nach Mexico ins Riu Palace Penninsula konnte in 09.2020 leider wegen Corona nicht stattfinden. Fällt aber nicht völlig aus. Ist halt nur verschoben auf 2021 / 2022. Ich freu mich darauf.

RIU Palace Peninsula is not adults only, but the good thing about it is you don’t get many families because they don’t offer a lot for kids, and RIU Caribe is right next door and has a lot for kids and families. Riu palace las Americas IS adults only - closer to the strip and all the nightclubs and bars !

@@lucyk7871 we going in may too 😍. Stayed at Rui Cancun in Nov and loved trips we did etc so rebooked for Peninsula this time. Went to Coco bongos twice as loved it! Gold member 1st time and with hotel animation team 2nd 😍

@@babykitten4878 Hey babykitten - what would you say the difference between coco bongo 1) gold member vs. 2) animacion team .. We also did the GOLD .. but wondered if we would have been better off with the animacion team ??

@@WherewegoingNext With the animation team they have a small seated area but it's not like gold, it's alot more cramped and it's not always guaranteed that you'll get any seated area. We did though, and as we tipped waiter he came to us regularly. It was definitely harder to get to the toilet and we couldn't of moved from where we seated unless we leaving or other people would've sat down. It was a struggle to get down and out when we did leave but was still a great night. We are back over in May and deffo be going gold member again
