agree with a lot of the previous comments, can you imagine the indignity of having to find your own room. The RIU app is excellent as it provides all the information that you require and usually has a detailed map of the hotel that you are staying in. The bed problem would be slightly irritating if you specifically wanted a double bed. I personally have never had a bad experience at any of the RIU properties I have stayed at.

I was actually watching this as I was contemplating booking this hotel for a nice winter break. Watching this video, I can't help but think: what a privileged life one must have to be complaining about "not having an iron in the room" or "having a gap between the two beds" or "having to walk to your room by yourself." As another commenter mentioned, it's a you-problem.'

I personally booked in on Thursday 12 September 24, with my family of 11 people. I've enjoyed every minute of my stay at riu Torquise. I saw your clip prior to coming to Mauritius and I regret it as I split my booking because of you biased video. I'm unsure if you are being paid by the competitors for your clip but I can honestly say that you are talking rubbish. Riu Turquoise is fantastic, tge food is awesome. Bangalore restaurant was super delicious. I emailed the hotel to ensure I got a booking as the app wasn't allowing me. I shall definitely stay at the Riu Turquoise. They need to sue u for defamation as u are misleading people with your rubbish review.

Yes, while weather is something out of our control, RiU was built on the windy side, and it was quite cold because of the wind mostly.

It's completely refurbished and my family and I are enjoying our stay here. That jagoo is a grumpy angry person

Is there a bar near the childrens pool please? On the app map it looks like you would have to walk a very long way to get a drink!

It's not that long, depending which bar you want to use. It's a big hotel and they try to make it easy as possible. It's a short walk. We got all our drinks in a tray and took it to the kids pool area to avoid walking unnecessarily.

Don't believe everything some people say. Riu Torquise is a great place to be. My grand children love the kiddies pool, the food is awesome. Beds are comfortable. He's got issues.
