Morning both, I loved this, the music and drone footage at the start, it really showed off Lake Garda so well. The architecture here is really beautiful and I loved the little streets and all of the sights and sounds. Its such a peaceful looking place and it must be great to sit at the eateries outside and ride a boat, there was quite a big queue waiting this day hehe ! Enjoyed the walking tour 👍~ Anna❤

Good evening again Nick and Jill. You definitely have succeeded in taking us away for a while . We loved all the beautiful buildings and the cobbled streets. The mountains in the background were fantastic really setting the scene perfectly. The boats by the castle? were amazing and we liked the snippet of the Italian lady with the little dog really made us feel like we were there. The view as the lake opened up to you was breathtaking ❤️. It must be lovely to have a coffee and sit at one of those cafes taking in the views and watching the world go by we liked how all the customers were seated facing the views. We loved the pink flowers but wasn't quite sure what they were. That boat took its time, Dave gets fed up waiting then ends up missing it glad you have more patience. A lovely walk through we really enjoyed losing ourselves in this beautiful 😍 place. A big 👍 from us Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️

I loved seeing Riva through your lens. We loved having Riva as our base when we visited Garda last year. While it is large and beautiful, with wonderful views of Garda, it wasn't that busy compared to other towns around Lake Garda. Plus, there were a host of places to relax with an Italian coffee or beer.

Very much enjoyed this walking tour around Riva Del Garda, so much authentic Italian culture and atmosphere, my favourite was listening to those enjoying their days walking the beautiful town. Wow. It just shows there is so much more to Lake Garda than the lakes, the town is so pretty and exactly what I would imagine to visit. What a wonderful tour around this gorgeous town. I loved all the gardens with the fountains leading up to the lakeside. Some super looking boats ... Some with deckchairs ?? I thought a place like this would be heaving, though there is lots of space, with no traffic apart from a few bikes and still enough folks about to give it a nice atmosphere. Those coloured buildings look great and add to the stylishness of the town with lots of enticing cafes & restaurants too. What a view over the lake, the mountains in the distance and the ferry heading off. This place seems to have everything, a perfect holiday destination... I hope there's lots more videos to come of our hols in this fabulous area 😎🤗🤗 xx

Looks a quaint place by the lake. I've actually never been to Italy...yet! Plenty of water features around to get those sounds and lots of ice cream signs as you would expect in Italy. The place looks busy but not overly busy. The little paddle boats weren't doing well or it could have been shut. The big paddle boat seemed to be doing OK tho. Great look around 👍

thanks Paul, filmed this a bit later in the day (about 4pm I think), it was bustling at lunch time but all the cafes and restaurants were still open all afternoon so I’m guessing you could pick and choose a quiet time to suit. just North of Riva del Garda in Trentino is South Tyrol which extends into Austria, we ventured up into the Dolomites from here and the entire area is stunning, you would love it! unlike the other Lakes in Italy nobody spoke English which is refreshing but also a little more challenging. the second language was German to cater for all the Austrian tourists that visit frequently.

Magnificent. This evoked a lot of memories. We first visited Italy in 1999 and stayed in Riva Del Garda. We caught the train from Verona to Desenzano, at the bottom of the lake, and we had no idea we'd booked our hotel in Riva. About an hour away by car, a couple of hours on the bus or ferry. But it was January and nothing was running regularly so we rented a car and drove up. We had considered not bothering. But I am so glad we did. Nobody there. Nothing open. It was beautiful. We stayed in the Grand Hotel Riva which I thought there was no way we'd see it in this video. But there it was, the big yellow building in the piazza at 4.52. We were the only people in the hotel except for the winter caretaker and his family. We had a great view of the lake. We found a cafe that was open and went in because of their extensive menu of milkshakes and sundaes and gelato. And they said they only had calda ciocolata. Hot chocolate. And it was the best hot chocolate ever. Thick, and rich and chocolatey.

That walkway meandered beautifully along the edge of that water. Lots of activities possible there too with the wee boats and 'climb on slide off boats 🤣! Plenty of cyclists around. Do you cycle? The Al Caduti del Mare, The memorial to those who fell from the sea, this memorial, which is the bow of a boat with a water fountain inside, near the shore of the lake, commemorates those brave sailors who drowned in the lake, whether while defending the port or during fishing operations, and individuals come To take souvenir photos of the monument and enjoy the natural scenery of the lake. We have so much footage of us being us enjoying these places but they are un edited and will air next year around a time people maybe thinking of their next holidays! These walking tours take very little editing and are handy to have in the bag should we have a filming/editing free week! Just looked back through our IG message thread apologies I didn’t send any pics from this day! We ate lakeside and had the best tiramisu I have ever eaten! will dig out the pics! It does look a great place to visit, nice to walk around the streets and see the mountains peeping up in the background. Not keen on the sound of the running water spout/fountain, I had to rush to the loo, just got back and they had multiplied, not good for a man of my age! Nor me Alan, I had to dash out on my own premiere, darn running water! Has me up at least 3 times a night. Lake Garda, well it was probably the worst holiday we ever had, got fined, lost my tooth, picked the wrong airport and had the worst weather imaginable on mountain days. I’m still traumatised by how bad it was. That being said, we both fell in love with Garda like you can’t imagine. This is the place. First time was a hard slap in the face life lesson as to how to do all the things wrong on a holiday (yeah that video is coming next spring with all the rest), but oh my days we have planned meticulously what we think will be not one, but two amazing, longer holidays back to Garda. It has the best Italian lakesides, villages, tourists, in a second you can be up in the Italian Alps or Brenda Dolomites, you can go toe to toe with one of the 100s of Trentino brown bears that are living and shouting out about their best bear life there. This is the place. And I rant everywhere else about cost, but this is so much cheaper, I mean insanely cheaper, than anywhere in the UK. The longer you stay the more money you will save..

We know what you mean re graffiti we actually discussed setting up a business if ever we moved abroad, one of them was graffiti removal but not sure who’d pay for it 😂 we had a fabulous meal lakeside here but that’s a video for next year after all our upcoming festivities 🎄❤️ sending much love ❤️
