The western shore (Lombardy) is quiter than the eastern (Veneto), here you find small beautiful hamlets, while in Veneto you find bigger town and lots of hotels, restaurants, pubs.... Sirmione is very beautiful but crowded, Garda and Torri not so crowded, plus you travel by car in Torri you can take the ferry and cross the lake up to Toscolano Maderno with your car If you like sports (sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing...) northern lake Garda is the best! (Riva, Torbole or the amazing Malcesine)!Enjoy!
