I never thought I'd see Rival Sons covering U2. A very pleasant surprise. Bullet in the Blue Sky is awesome. Whatever people think of U2, Joshua Tree is a great album.

I have always been a big U2 fan. That being said, Rival Sons is probably the best band to come out in the last 25 years. I couldn't believe it when I saw this video. I had no idea they were fans of U2. I have 3 different articles in guitar mags on Scott Holiday, and he never mentions U2, or The Edge that I remember. Cool to see & hear though!

Rival Sons is not a cover band. This concert was a free special Halloween pop up show. The U2 set was a one off bonus, not typically performed by Rival Sons.

It's was a Halloween Trick or Treat dhow put on by the local station q101. The treat being that it was a free show, the trick being that they did a set as U2. If you haven't heard of Rival Son's then I can't recommend them enough!
