I am a sprina fan and will always be one, but Spencer is not coming back and they should not recast him, NAC has moved on and we should too, and Trina can have more than one love of her life she is 20 years old and I’m here to support whatever comes her way, and what I’ve seen I like Kai it’s Trina time to shine, she has been on the back burner every since Spencer left, it’s been almost a year let the young woman live and love again please ❤

My God people, please please give people a change to shine, he only had 2.5 seconds of screen time with Trina, people are entitled to there opinion but you already bashed him before he got going good, there’s a reason why Gio and Trina did not make it yet, he has a lot of growing up as a leading young man, and the writers are not giving him the opportunity to shine to his full potential, he like a little boy, I don’t know if Trina and Kai are going to make it or not, but I’m willing to give them sometime to shine apart as well as together, and if Gio likes Trina he needs to step up his game a lot because in my opinion Kai has him beat already ❤❤

Yes to Gio. He is like jelly around Trina and has a big crush on her....Trina feels friendship with Gio but many relationships started out as friendships ....Trina is like no....lightening cant not strike twice.... We have to see more of Trina and Kal to make a judgement. I didn't see the sparks....I hope it isn't too long of a slow burn story line, because there is still the "Spencer" factor to address.....

@@nucreature2948 Actually, I've been noticing how Gio acts much more like a young man around Trina than anyone else. He seems like an eager puppy around Joss and Dex, pushes back on Joss a little, and his family steamrolls him. But with Trina they talk and get along so easily.

@@CentralCityCitizenMedia I agree with this. I don't think he acts as young around her. I also think he likes her, but isn't enamored by her which is what I like. He has other things going on ( I think he will find out either Lois or BLQ is his biological mother) and his bio father may be alive too. So, he has other things going on. I like that his main story isn't his fixation on Trina.

I hadnt watched General Hospital in a long time. I haven't seen all of Trina' s interactions with Gio, but i feel like he appeals to her sensitive art lover side . Kai, may be more on the " fun" side because he doesnt seem to be interested in his education. So maybe a little bit of a love triangle will happen. I agree with what someone else said here, they may be setting up Tabayana leaving when her contract is up and then they can start from scratch with new actors for Trina and Spencer. I hate to see her go if happens😒

Spencer had a sensitive art lover side to him, but he also had a fun side and wasn't interested in furthering his education. As far as I'm concerned, he was BOTH! But at least, Gio and Kai don't have nasty attitudes and criminal records!

I think the gh writers don’t write gio as a romantic love interest for Trina due to the fact that he was brought in when Patrick was still writing for gh. Now that the writers have changed yet again it seems they really don’t want gio on canvas anymore so the character as well as his scenes seem pointless. Kai and Trina I do see some chemistry but believe gh only brought him on for a short time to compete with the gates coming in February.

I agree. To your point about Kai having a short run, I think so to. With Gio they said he was under contract right away but with Kia his status has not been given You may be right because they brought him in as a star football player that is headed for the NFL. Just my thoughts

Whoever Trina's romantic interest is, I hope that the writers still allow the character to SHINE and FLOURISH! With TABY in the role! When I started watching the SPRINA SL last year - after not seriously following a GH SL for years- I was impressed with both Trina and Joss's characters and how they were portrayed as young women who were PASSIONATE about their studies. Although, to digress one minute, I don't know why the decision was made to change Joss's major from MEDICINE to ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE. Back to talking about who ever the better love interest for Trina will be- I feel the SAME WAY I felt when Trina and Spencer were a couple - I don't want her character, in any way, COMPROMISED, for the sake of the COUPLING. I feel the same about Joss's character also. Let there be LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON, but ALSO CONTINUE to show BOTH YOUNG LADIES STRIVING TOWARDS THEIR GOALS.( I know I got a little off topic).😊

I agree Marsha. Kai is a much stronger scene presenter than Gio. The writers ruined Gio for Trina's love interest. I said for go that Gio would be best suited for Emma but GH doesn't want competition for Joss. The best thing about Kai is so far is that his meeting with Trina was not ushered in by Joss. He's off to a better start than Gio.

Hmm, need to see mkre interactions between them before I make a fair judgement. I liked the scenes they had so far; of course it was the first day, so it's not going to be smooth sailing. What I find funny is that some of the people who were all for Trina getting together with Kai before he appeared all of a sudden are pro-Trio 🥴 Like make it make sense 🥴 It'll be interesting to see how this dynamic between Kai and Trina work out and how Gio might fit into this as far as a triangle is concerned 🤔

I like Giovanni, but they ruined Gio by giving him tour with Jaws. His meet cute should have been with Trina. The best thing about Kai is that his meeting with Trina was them two, and his intro was not made by Jaws. That's 100!

@@creating1_c1999 A few mistakes were made handling Gio (the character), but truth be told the audience was hellbent on punishing him for not being Spencer. Not even a Spencer recast would survive this fanbase right now. It's a good thing actors have thicker skins than the fans.

I heard that the writers is going to make Dex cheat on Josslyn with Molly and Josslyn turn to Gio and they are go to sleep together and then they are going to be come a couple, and Dex is going to with Molly and then Trina is going to with Kai . If that is true I don't like it one bit .

Molly and Dex have sparks, but if Josslyn gets with Gio that would give her the third blonde, warm, kind, giving, devoted boyfriend to walk all over. I *like Joss and Eden*, and she should do so much more. We need the besties to get up into a righteous adventure or be up to no good.

It was fine. I like Kai and Quinn so far. I like Kai, but not with Trina. I feel like they are trying to make Kai too much like Spencer and that's boring. It's unimaginative. The actor is good. I can tell. I just don't trust the writers. I fear the writers will ruin him if they put him with Trina. I wish there was someone else for him. I don't want him with Joss. I actually like Quinn better with Trina...but I don't think the writers will go there. I think Quinn would actually challenge Trina which is what she needs. I just don't think the writers are good enough and will do well with that. I still like Gio. I don't know what it is about him, but I really like him. I just hate how they write him. They write him like he is just a nosey, awkward 16 year-old instead of a talented 21 year-old with some ambition. People may not want to hear this, but I think Kai is apart of Trina's exit story. It's a gut feeling. I think Tabyana's contract will expire, and 'Trina' will be gone for a while. I think they will bring her back later in the future with a new actress. Just a feeling. I think they *may* revisit Sprina but it will be a new Spencer and a new Trina in the undetermined future. Just my lonely 2 cents.

@@lisacox5405 I liked Quinn, too! He brought that pragmatic resistance the young crowd needs. We'll see if Kai's good intentions hold up or if he makes more self-serving choices on his own or with Quinn's prodding. And yes, unless they root Trina in some purpose, they will put her off canvas for a while. They've sent Spencer away a couple times, and look at the Cassadines now. It's not unheard of.

If the producers decide to write the character off the show - then at least show her graduating and being offered her DREAM JOB in another city or country. I don't want the producers and the writers to have her leaving PC to follow KAI pursuing HIS DREAM and not her own. Although I am JUMPING THE GUN- we don't know who her "Mr. Right" will be yet: GIO; KAI; or a "RESURRECTED" SPENCER.

I like Trina with Kai already, chemistry is there. I dont see anything romantic with trina and gio. He seems very young and goofy. I think some just like the swirl aspect. I loved Sprina, wish NAC would come back but i doubt it. Time to move on and kai is it for me. Jens is a good actor, tall and handsome. None of those things apply to Gio actor imo. He is just ok. Honestly i get the feeling he doesnt want a romantic pairing with taby.

I don't think they will. I think even if they don't become a couple, her and Gio seem like they would be life-long friends which I think is better in some ways. Honestly, I value friendships more on TV shows than romantic relationships. That's just me. I think those friendships are better than romantic relationships in many cases. That's why I like Gio. I feel like there is a connection they can maintain regardless.
