God, I miss when Riven was actually viable and you didn't have to play picture perfect to win. My favorite build was Fervor/Thunderlords with Yommus - BC - Ravenous - GA. That build carried me all the way to Diamond back then.

Before you would get punished for buying tabi first item if you were a bruiser like Rene or Darius( by having no dmg ) ,now the meta is basically pick adc anywhere outside of jg and pray you are not blind picking top ,cuz unless you are just the better player you wont play the game until minute 12 .

Haha the good ol players are so fun to rewatch. I think the player base has just gotten so much better it is harder to gap this much in chall. Just go back and play on a D2 account and it feels the same lol

Everyone else just dealt so much less dmg, like look at the adc dmg in those clips it's how it should be. Nowadays they all just 3 shot you. And everyone had like 1600 hp at lvl 18 or something so you could actually kill people without %maxhp true magic fire holy dmg passives. Riven was too strong for that era but now she's just mid, she's fine but fine is boring
