Cool yes...that was a real opportunity window event fish, that first....what a magnificent beast. The second ...well you worked at that....well done. Was that a big pit reel u used on the first action?...My plan for this year is to match up a 485 gram big pit reel to a longish stalking rod...and free line cast for them .... The idea being that the big spool will facilitate longer casts lighter baits!....what do you think? Would appreciate your input.
@Lifeonthebank3 жыл бұрын
Zelos mini pit reel sounds ideal for this. A big spool on a fairly compact reel. I hope that helps. 👍👍👍

I've never managed to catch a carp on the river. I've used all the gear possible and all the "food" for the carp, but nothing. Worms, corn, maggots, the stuff from the store with all the flavours : spiced, fruits, even liver for the catfish. I have no luck in catching those fish.

Problem is that inline lead ain’t coming off if your line goes, lead core and inline leads = death rig
@Lifeonthebank3 жыл бұрын
You raise a good point. The inline lead isn’t on so tight that it won’t come off, that’s very important and probably should have been mentioned. Also the inline insert isn’t too tight on the swivel. Finally, it’s not lead core but thanks for raising this 👍
