PLEASE READ: Hey, all! I'd like to state that currently, there's a bit of a discrepancy; with the early state of the game and its release, some of this may be subject to change, and I'll make a new tutorial for it if need be! I'm fully aware that the Japanese release as of right now has Guard Cancelling in it, but the early release version that I was sent as of its most recent update is apparently more accurate to the final version of the game, and there's no Guard Cancelling whatsoever. Should things change by the time everything's sorted out, you'll get an updated tutorial, but as things stand, I hope this will help some people out!

I adore how Kyoko is a legit kicking character and has lots of taekwondo elements in it. And she uses it beautifully. Unless you want to say she’s using the kicking part of karate which is also good. Point is, I love Kyoko!!!!

Impressive vid. Thanks. I've tried jumping after a launcher, but can't seem to combo. Currently lv16. Maybe I need to be higher level. I played through the first game. Got this & tried a normal difficulty co-op playthrough, but even w/healing items & boosting stats, had to continue a few times on the 1st boss. Curious if you need to watch a playthrough (despite spoilers) & grind levels, or just play through normally, and better.

Not sure why but Nobody will do their guard break except Marian for me. Not sure what I’m missing. They have a full bar and the move is unlocked but she’s the only one who will do it when I hold down the button

Hold the Heavy attack button once you get the move! There's a meter beneath your SP gauge that fills up as you do damage. You'll eventually get 3 segments to it. That's your guard break meter. Hope this helps! :3

Did the strikers also break you out of enemy combos in the first game? I genuinely can't remember but I find that useful here at times.

Yes same. Most characters won’t do it. Even with a full bar.

Honestly that's my only gripe about the entire game. (Well apart from having to buy it twice, as the Gamer Guide crashes the Switch every time it's used). It REALLY bothers me how there's no teching out of combos for the PCs. Your only options are: A. Be guarding already. B. Have one of the few allies that effect near enough to interrupt your direct attacker. Or C. Sit there and watch yourself get stretched Boo. 3 inch "skill" ceiling.
