River Dee Tidal Bore - (Edit)

A surf of the bore on the River Dee from Queensferry to Saltney. As the flood tide heads up the Dee estuary it is constrained by the canalised section near Connah's Quay. On larger tides, with low river levels, this gives for a ride all the way to Saltney, and sometimes beyond.

Excellent- you really knew how to keep on that edge. And when you got behind the first one and your bow was just about to bury - I was tensing up on that. I live in South Louisiana and have an 18 foot Necky that I use in Lake Pontchartrain and the swamp. Although I have not been out in a few years

Cool video I'm watching it on 120 inch projection screen and every time you drift your head back and forth left or right it makes my stomach do a bit of a somersault almost motion sick but thanks for the cool video.
